Did Ponce just say I want to thank my promoter Frank Warren? he's the best fighter in Warren's stable

It does happen rarely, but I can't see any justification this time... Ritson was just getting hurt by that point, any realistic shot he might have had was long gone, even his punches had nothing on em any more.

Plenty of good domestic fights for Ritson, and he's always gonna be good value for money, but he just ain't a world level fighter. Looking forward to see Ponce in action again too though.... Browny vs Ponce would be fkn epic.

              Yes.

Check out Graham Earl vs Michael Katsidis on YouTube. It was a damn war. Just after the ref throws the towel out Earl gets a KD over Katsidis. So the ref made the right call.

The ref in both these fights saw that the fighter was digging in, throwing back and defending themselves. Good refereeing.

Wow that was crazy. Ritson looked really slow in there and got grinded down by a hungry fighter. He was trying to be the big puncher in there and use his strength but hes not big for a light welterweight. They are bigger dudes than the lightweights and he cant bully people at light welter. I am kinda glad he lost because i would of not wanted him to get beat up by the likes of Mattias because that would of been brutal.
Ponce is vulnerable to a nasty counter punch but Ritson did not have the speed or power to deliver it.

Eventually Ritson will end up as a sacrifice for Dalton Smith I think, but we're probably about 18 months away from that

                      Ritson has found his level

solid domestic level fighter that can’t bridge the gap between that and the next level.
