Of course I still don't think Team Spence wanted the Crawford fight, but that is beside the point. Arum pointing that out and then turning around and doing the exact same thing when his boxers are in Spence position. Am tired of these sort of promoters.

He is doing the same, in fact he’s much worse than Haymon atIeast Haymon has some vision for his fighters even if it’s a path of least resistance at times it’s a path that leads to somewhere decent kn the end. I dont think Arum gives a fkk any more I don’t even think he tried to get the Pacquaio fight for Crawford and he seemed to have 1st option on Pac before Spence got it.

I think Bob just got caught with his pants down expecting a Pacquao fight. Taylor likely doesn't want to move up just yet, so what other options are there? I just went on the TR website, and the "best" welterweights they have are prospects. (side note, the top rank site must have just been redone. I like it. PBC doesn't give you the option to sort by weight class which I hate.

Plus, I feel like in North American and UK boxing podcasts, they don't discuss a lot of the lower classes which you know I love to follow (central asia, japan, etc.)

I hate promoters who play games like him, the fact that he tries to stop others bidding on Lopez’s fight, so that he can claim that Lopez market value is low is shocking to me, he basically tried to sabotage his own boxer from getting paid outside of his promotion/network.

This is why I respect Lopez, maybe someone like Crawford can learn from him, when your promoter is coming out and saying he is losing money on you then he is basically selling you out.

He said there would be big news on Crawford like 6 weeks ago and nothing.

He's old and doing what old people do which is DGAF about anything. The problem with arum is he controls his company and he calls teh shots so theirs no one above him, or board to veto him so he gets to do as he pleases with his own company and.... well hes old, he DGAF and he needs to stay busy and this is the way he chooses to do it.

You also gotta think its not that Arum is negative about things, it just so jaded from half a century of doing all this that he knows it doesnt matter what he really tells the public cause in the end whats going to happen is going to happen. So I think he more annoyed at all the youtubers that have access to him and ask the same questions moreso than just beingoutright angry at the world.
