The problem is dayzin is an app that literally has NOTHING else but Canelo....and domestic level European fights. Those low level fights appeal to the boxing fans but the average sports fan isn’t getting dayzin because it doesn’t offer much. If it had nfl, nba, nascar, formula 1, tennis, Olympics, college basketball/football or at least of it were to have held on to Bellator then it would have had something to offer. I’m sorry but it takes more than just Eddie Hearn fans and British “empire” driven nationalism for me to buy into it and certainly the average American doesn’t give a damn about British nationalism and Eddie Hearn worship
Kids these days just jailbreak a firestick to get all of those apps for free. As far as I know, nobody under 30 pays for tv. Nobody is purchasing a bunch of apps. Well, young people aren't. Unless something changes, the whole model of paying for tv is obsolete. Good for Mayweather making that type of cash the other night. There were free live******s of it everywhere. People paid for it?

If the PBC had its way every fight with a boxer you'd heard of would cost 100$ if DAZN hadn't come along Al would be trying to sell fights for 200$ to 50K people now and screaming success.
        How does that build boxing?

If this is "is growing the sport" are the ppv and crowd numbers so low ? Boxing was global in Tysons day let's go back there.

Free tv boxing is great , jump on youtube and you'll find plenty (legally) from around the world.
Is Davis going to be on free tv watched by millions .... nope.

with dazin is because it removes boxing from the people. The best thing that can happen to boxing is more exposure on free tv and basic cable/established sports station apps. Dazin is a good idea for the boxing fan but it DOES NOT grow the sport at all.

Perhaps you would like to explain that better? You’re attacking pbc because you want more boxing fans to buy into dayzin? Just explain why and explain why that’s better for the future of the sport

Yep I did, but I’m from a generation that pays what it owes. I don’t do illegal anything, not even ******s. When you reach 50+, have an education, business, retirements, investments and a good portfolio, military disability your disposable income is better than your average 20 year old...he and I don’t worry about the same things.

Seemed to make a splash for a while but has almost fizzled out. The bad press from Tyson and Jones hasn’t helped. Again, triller would need a network option. If dayzin would make a deal with a network and show low level fights and contender level fights on nbc, abc, NBC sports, etc etc then they would have something. But their whole game on an app no one has....if that’s the future of boxing then boxing doesn’t have a future. Expand or go under....

If you are going to decrease the price, drop it to that price point. But going from $75 to $70 does what exactly? You are better off just leaving it at $75 at that point. No one that wasn't going to purchase the fight for $75 will all of a sudden purchase for $70.
Ya I agree I would pay $50 for it . I wanna get it but its basically paying $70 for only one fight . the other fights ain't worth the money .

I'm assuming your generation includes those billionaires that haven't been paying taxes for years. Everybody sees that. It's my generation, too. "Can't be proven illegal" is the same as "legal". Anyway, with my IP address scrambled, somebody would have an awful hard time telling whether I was watching the Floyd fight the other night or not.

Saw this and came straight to the comments just to see all the “$70 is too much for this fight” talk. Is what it is. Im may buy it. Im intrigued by the main event, and the co main. Not so much the other two on the card. I love boxing so…is what it is.
