Boxing is a combat sport!!! I believe when they are refering to "PBF running they are talking about his defensive style and his preference of guarding himself "philly shell" and his footwork. and most of PBF fights is what I call advanced Amateur boxing without the head gear and the reason why i say this because amateur boxing has a point scoring system that measures the number of clean blows landed rather than physical damage. Thats why PBF is considered by many P4P # 1 because he brings something unique and frankly I believe he and others that has same distinctive fighting techniques should make his own boxing genre I can just imagen how boring pbf vs pbf would be LOL!!!!!!

Mayweather is dam good. but he's changed ducking the great fighters at their prime. He talks about where was pacquiao in the 90's. why didn't he fight de la hoya in the 90's. Dlh would've kicked his ass. No as far as 39 opponents came up short, well anybody that knows boxing knows that he pretty much lost the first castillo fight. the judges gave him an early christmas present there. it'll be a good fight if mayweather doesn't run the whole fight.

JMM>Hatton, but he's too small for that to matter in this fight.

            4thquartermusic-Floyd is the best, period!

Responding to aguileraluis22's comment: Floyd is a very unique & great boxer. People failed to realize that when he dominated the 130 lb division, moving to 135, he did call out Oscar. De La Hoya wanted Floyd to chase him & he didn't think that Floyd deserved to fight him at the time. So as Floyd moved up in wait, & Larry Merchant started asking why not stay in a weight class & clean house, Floyd responded with, "he is moving on to BIGGER & BETTER things," which was really the money he was seeking, and the better opposition. So when he is making statements about other fighters, he has every right because behind the scenes there are a lot of politics and BS, and there are only a few fighters who have not only became very successful boxers in regard to titles, but also big paydays and running their own careers. ExamplesDe La Hoya, Mayweather, Roy Jones Jr, Bernard Hopkins). Just go to youtube and pull up some of Mayweather's earlier fights & you will see after the fights during the interviews he calls out De La Hoya, Tsyzu, Mosley, Corrales, Freitas, Casamayor, and many others. Never called out Manny because he wasn't a factor. Shane had excuses 3 times on why he couldn't fight Mayweather, Cotto wasn't ready to fight him & said that he needed 1 or 2 tune-ups, Manny never called him out, he just kept saying that he would leave it up to his team, & everyone never called him out either. They always said during his retirement that if he comes out of retirement, they would like to fight him.

True he did call out those fighters and realistically watching him fight his early fights he was strong and didn't have too much of that defensive style maybe the other fighters weren't up to par but he was a very exciting fighter to watch. then as he moved up the latter he became very defense oriented and a little boring i think thats why he doesn't get the draw that a manny pacquio or dlh. honestly dlh and mayweather fight in the 90's i don't think mayweather would've been able to handle oscar's power and pressure. but i do think mayweather is too good for mp or jmm. he's too big and strong. although in the 24/7 show jmm was already at 144 and looking pretty strong.the politics do ruin a lot of this sports fan base.example: juan diaz should've never won that fight in houston. that was a bs decision. i think the only guy that can decisively beat mayweather right now is paul williams and even then thats a bit unfair since the punisher is trying to get fights with the likes of kelly pavlik and hopkins. he's a freak of nature to go that heavy and then back down to the welterweight limit.
