Mayweather Jr: "Ricky Hatton Had The Same Plan"

Floyd Mayweather Jr. said his opponents need to come up with a new gameplan if they want to beat him in the ring. Juan Manuel Marquez plans to put a lot of pressure on Mayweather when they meet in the ring on September 19 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. He plans to throw a lot of punches to break Mayweather down. Floyd is not worried, he says Ricky Hatton had the same plan in December of 2007. That was Mayweather's last fight, and he stopped Hatton and handed the Manchester fighter his first loss by way of knockout. [details]

Difference is Marquez won't just walk into punches with his chin like Hatton. And he can actually box.

You can't pressure Floyd if you want to win, but then again you can't try to outbox Floyd if you want to win.

So then how can you beat Floyd?
