Yeah, I'm still thinking maybe I should have done that instead of Stevenson vs Nakathalia... Can't recall last time I put a x4 underdog in and like you say Ritson vs Ponce has the potential to be very competitive specially given how Ritson looked against Titere... mind you if they manged to give Ritson that one I gotta I imagine the Argentine got a mountain to climb here if he's gonna get the nod against our UK judges.
Did you watch the Mueller fight? For a rangey guy he's a fairly competent inside fighter. Shades of Fundora and Navarette with the crazy uppercuts. His default stance and casual guard looks really tight and awkward/funny to me though. Likewise, his defense is pretty suspect, and he was fighting the ref, while the german was holding like Floyd after he was rocked by Mosley in every other round and incredibly often in the late rounds. Also kind of funny is the one suspect scorecard 114-114 from Marcus McDonnell is the same judge who gave Vasquez the widest card against Ritson. Not even some lager fattened German judge but a suspect UK official.... The fact he won a decision in Germany is a good starting point to not get robbed in the UK but honestly neither guy are that good which makes this kind of an intriguing matchup, to me anyway.

Not seen it, although I did make a mental note when I was checking his Boxrec that Ponce got a decision in Germany against the home fighter which I figured must mean he was doing something right. I'll give it a look over this eve for interest's sake, but honestly I'll probably be rooting for him whatever happens just in the hope of some kinda karmic justice for the Vasquez robbery.
interesting. Most are picking the underdog pedraza at the moment.
Do we have a statistic on how pick em does when the majority backs the underdog?
It's very much a rarity for the majority to pick the underdog at all although both Donaire and Browny were picked as underdogs by around 50% (13/25 and 12/25 respectively) only a week and a half ago so I'd say our Pick Em players certainly have a bit of a nose for it if you're thinking what I think you're thinking...

Haha that was what I was thinking about.
Ended up betting Matias but although I picked Donaire KO I somehow was too hesitant to bet it at those pretty big odds.
