I'd love to host for that reason, but we don't send many people for boxing anymore
Not necessarily just the Olympics, even in amateur world championship boxing it happens. East Europe etc when they host these events, their boxers win it against anyone from the west. So the thought of Joshua winning it in London isn’t a shocker. As long as he wasn’t KO he was always going to get the gold.
Even in the pro game, wasn't Bute v Andrade 1 corruption at its finest in Canada? So it’s not like these things don’t favour hometown boxers.

Hometown judging is hometown judging, happens everywhere. Your guy got two gifts in the same tournament though lol.
And I was never a Bute fan, but that was a bit different. He dominated the fight, and got a "long count" which he benefited from IIRC.
(I googled it, Bute got KD'd as the clapper went, so even without a slow count it wouldn't have mattered)
"Russ Anber, the voice of Canadian boxing who was calling the fight for TSN, replayed the tape and confirmed that no matter what Wright did, there wouldn't have been time to count Bute out as long as he got up."
Nah. Lennox lewis and many other British legends made clear his performance wasn’t good enough. That hurt Joshua, who procedeed to call Lennox a “clown”. Joshua lost face with neutrals and hardcore fans for his lack of courage. All the excuses in the world as to why he wouldn’t fight in the US. he then cherry picked Ruiz hoping that Andy was happy with a pay day and it backfired. You tell me what options Joshua had after losing to Ruiz? Wilder fury was tied up. So where did he have to go? You do understand that he beat a faded un motivated Ruiz don’t you? And even then Joshua was afraid to enagage and fought very negatively all night, after he had claimed the way fury fought WLAD was “boring”. I don’t like hypocrites is all. Don’t you, ya trainer and promoter all claim you can’t fight in America against wilder as its key for your progression to be fighting at home, and then go try fight the likes of miller or Ruiz in America.
that’s where the dislike of aj came into it.
people dislike it when a guy loves mando fights when you’ve helped the order of the mandos like they did with Povetkin and pulev) but once a decent fighter pops up, mandos are a headache? People don’t like how we’ve always gotta hear Eddie speak for Joshua, he never gives his own sound bites.
people dislike racists. Joshua has had a few of those moments. So none of the dislike towards Hearn and Joshua is without substance. They’ve caught themselves in lie after lie.
why did Joshua and Hearn tell everybody wilder wasn’t worth no more than 12.5M
but fury should of paid £20M for wilder to just shut up and postpone his shot?
that’s the hypocrisy right there.
whys Joshua all of a sudden done everything to make the fury fight, but did EVERYTHING to ensure the fight with wilder DIDNT HAPPEN.
why they telling everyone that all they’ve ever wanted was UNDISPUTED, yet went out they’re way to avoid wilder? Amazing how they didn’t just shut up give him that split percentage and made the fight.
A mandatory fight doesn’t require any rematch clauses. A true champ who believes in his abilities would still fight that challenger even if a rematch clause couldn’t be agreed! They wouldn’t strop and tell em oh well I’ll vacate then! Trying to monopolise the titles!
Crazy how after AJ-Ruiz II Eddie and Joshua had no interest in the 3rd fight, but soon as Usyk popped up they was talking to Andy! Lmao. People dislike lying cowards.
floyd didn’t put rematches in every fight, manny didn’t and also many other great fighters and names didn’t! Truth is that camps fragile mentally!
Just like how they’re saying they’d of signed to fight wilder after the fury fight if need be!
yet when wilder told Hearn ok, I’ll fight Whyte but make sure Joshua is a condition in that contract for me next and Eddie and Joshua said no.
I could go on all week. Who’d win would you rather have? Joshua in Saudi or Ruiz in MSG?
enough said!
lol this guy is so sour and salty and bitter and a total liar. He’s up there as one of the worst posters I have seen, a clear AJ hater who won’t ever give him any credit for a single thing he has ever done in the pro ranks. I put it down to jealousy and contempt that a foreigner is ruling the division.
so many errors of consistency, so many double standards and so many mixes of time lines to fit a narrative. And then tops it off with the racism accusations. I’m guessing this guy is one of this racists that loves to accuse everybody else of being a racist.
You sound like you get your facts from those sweaty kiddy fiddling racists on YouTube, you know the LDBCT.

Doesn’t matter if you are a Bute fan or not. Like you said hometown judging IS hometown judging. You pointing out how “My guy” got two hometown gifts, then telling me that you are not a Bute fan …
See how you got triggered when the same finger is pointed at you? All of a sudden “My guy” and “Am not a Bute fan”…and it’s a bit different but excuses though isn’t it?
Again Hometown is hometown. Hence why boxers don’t like facing hometown boxers.
floyd didn’t put rematches in every fight, manny didn’t and also many other great fighters and names didn’t! Truth is that camps fragile mentally!
If Wilder hadn't tied Fury up in so many rematch clauses we would be seeing the undisputed HW title fight between Fury and AJ in July, not Fury vs Wilder AGAIN. Fury already beat that clown twice, how many more times does he need to beat him before he can move on and fight somebody else?
**** Wilder and Finkel with their ****ing never ending rematch clause bull****.
