Floyd laughing all the way to the bank.

I am no fan of these exhibitions fights but this is something that has been done before and some rate of success. I have a lot of casuals and non boxing fans talking before, during and after the fight. Here in NSB we have Floyd hater talking about him at 100% capacity.

Don't know why so many are in pain because he fought. He mentioned that minimum he will get $30 million and they will probably will be more upside if it does well with the ppv sales. While some are crying here for one reason or another Floyd is laughing all the way to the bank.

Like I said before I do not like these celebrity circus money grab fights but it has its audience and I don't know why some are really taking this like it was a legit fight. The fight was trash as expected and really was meaningless.

When everything is all tabulated, how much do you think Floyd will claim he made from this exhibition? 100-150 mill? 200 Mill? What do you think he will claim he made?

I think he always claims he makes more than he makes. I also question whether he wants to do these... He likes the narrative "hey im just having fun here, it is what it is..." But we don't see Lennox Lewis, for example, taking on some YouTuber. I do think there are other fighters who could make money doing this but choose not to do so. I have no problem with Floyd's decision either. I believe the Paul brothers are showing fighters how to market properly... showing that we do not need Arum, Hearn, etc. So I wouldn't watch this, and it is cringe worthy at times to see the highlights, but I respect it as progress. I also respect Floyd's true statement that he only really started to make money when he left Arum... I see it from that vantage point, as a show with no middlemen.

But when I see Floyd? I see a guy who has a very expensive and unsustainable lifestyle. He makes a lot of money and spends a lot of it... I do not think he will stay rich. He has extended it... from the days of Ray Robinson for example, but there are immutable laws when it comes to financial matters. he simply spends too much.

I firmly believe Floyd regrets doing this exhibition unless he actually needs the money which I’m pretty sure he doesn’t.

Floyds 2 main income streams- promotion and girl club- made nothing last year other than those PPE loans he got.

You need resources to promote and the #1 asset for Mayweather Promotions is Floyd.

He may have had to do this to avoid using dipping into his personal assets to promote the upcoming fights he has scheduled.

I don’t think he ever regrets making legal money.
