That mystique just popped like a hot air balloon.

Floyd was never deducted points for excessive holding and the forearm to the face (which again he did last night) because he was a protected fighter with the refs and judges and commission.
I couldn't blame Mayweather for using that forearm to the throat because he was frustrated. He was roughing up Floyd all night. Obviously, the guy didn't come to win.

All he wanted to do was show Floyd up by making it a dirty fight so he could last all eight rounds. I knew that was going to be his game plan all along; Too stiff Floyd by turning it into a street fight.

Well Money May is no street fighter. He is a boxer. Had Logan played by the rules; Then chances are Floyd would have knocked him the fuck out and he knew it. Which is why he was afraid of playing by the rules.

He was roughly the same size as Gatti and Cotto (perhaps a tad smaller), and still enjoyed a significant reach advantage over both, particularly Cotto. I’ll give ya De La Hoya for sure and that was one of his closer fights IMO. Canelo definitely too but he was green and has no business fighting a man as great as Floyd at the time (and still processed a significant reach advantage). I’m not hating on Floyd, he’s in my top 5 all time just like everyone else. But the Manny hate is just too confusing for me. The man is 42 and has the stomach to face the top welterweight in the world. Despite the outcome of the Floyd fight I put both on about equal footing on my all time pound for pound, with maybe Floyd just a little bit higher. But if Manny happened to shock the world and pull off an upset of Spence, I don’t think he will even come close to that, but if he did I’d move him higher than Floyd. I’m just a fan of great fighters man, and that’s what they both are.

He used his forearm for half his career and never had a point taken for it. He’d push up on opponents chins, throats and nose constantly. When it wasn’t that he’d hold for 40% of the match. I’m shocked no ref would warn him let alone take a point. It was ridiculous

I didn’t watch it but it must have been bad. I got IMMEDIATE texts from my MMA friends just laughing about how bad Floyd embarrassed boxing. Then I see tons of things social media basically doing the same thing or claiming that Floyd lost or that Paul did better than Canelo so he’s clearly better and that boxing takes no talent. Thanks Floyd. I guess Floyd gets to fade away with his money and people who dislike Floyd get the satisfaction of watching him ruin his legacy and limp away from the spotlight forever. His credibility is shot now and boxing takes a massive black eye yet again.

It took Pac 5 years (and getting one punched by JMM) to get over his "fear of needles" long enough finally step into the ring with Floyd.

Money over Legacy for Mayweather, that is WTF he cares about the most he has always made that clear

He didn't ruined the momentum of these youtubers, HE HELPED THEM get even bigger and now Showtime/ViacomCBS are likely about to invest even more into this "Circus" especially if the numbers on this one came back big...Thanks Floyd you might have just F^CKED the Real Professional Fighters out of Paydays and Dates if Showtime does indeed start signing more of these Weirdos

Was I Entertained? Yes! Do I hate these youtube kids, NO not really, they're starting grow on me a bit because these kids show up in shape and they have decent Boxing Technique for some complete Novice. Also too these kids can actually SPEAK and help Promote the event. While other Celebrities jump into the ring and they're all wild and can't throw a punch Properly like Nate Robinson and others. At least Jake and Logan can throw punches properly
