The superhuman aura of Pro fighters died tonight

For so long we have heard how any random bum from your local boxing club would whoop any non boxers ass just because they aren't a boxer.

The greatest boxer of all time just struggled and lost to a random youtuber.

Honestly I still respect boxers but tonight showed anyone can do it as long as they have access to all the training etc.

That's the difference between top boxers and regular Joe's is just access to training and nutrition. I think most college jocks with a years training could whoop probably 80% of Pro boxers out there pretty easily. Obviously not the elite world champions or contenders but anyone below that is nothing special.

Athletic guy in his prime years and with the passion for combat sports and willing to train hard can beat many boxers.

Yes I kind of think pro fighters are put into too big a pedestal. Of course we respect them as they risk their life. But if you train hard you will be able to fight. You don't need s o many fights but the right fights will give you experience you need. Pro boxers are good as being pro they take training seriously, and Logan Paul took it seriously and did ok. But boxing is one of those sports you can get good fast.

But you won't necessarily look like superman. Floyd looked great against tenshin and not so good these last 2 fights

            Well ****ing duh

OP is such a typical couch potato dumb****...what makes boxers anything other than ordinary men who simply committed to training 3-4 times a week???

Jesus what a ****ing joke when people consider a near 200lbs dude whose 6'2 with a few years experience boxing casually not getting dropped by a guy 40lbs lighter as some kind of revelaton.

What. Mayweather was 44 and is not a puncher.
put logan in with a smaller guy in teofimo lopez and he would get destroyed.

This is just the truth, especially if you commit to training consistently and sparring decent opponents. I came from a heavy jiu jitsu background and it took me about 18 months before I was holding my own against european and world champion kickboxers. The fact that I'm fitness addict also puts you above many boxers (especially heavyweights) who often balloon outside of fight camps.
