I think Fury retires him next time

it’s unlikely he gets any title shots anytime soon after he gets smashed again, and I just don’t see Wilder wanting to get back in the mix at 36 with lesser opponents and nothing on the line.

this is his last roll of the dice.

I wouldn't say career is over but he needs to fight anyone not named fury. Look at chisora he has best resume in division. He's fought everyone. He loses most though and he's still fighting

He can still fight guys like Martin and Helenius on PBC undercards.

if that 'once off' fight last time becomes a 'twice off' then yeah hes done i would say

but i think fury was really on it that night and wilder was a bit off so i expect it to be closer with fury winning in the end so wilder can still go on and get big names and big fights

There would be fights for him. Reasonable money. But nothing big and I'd imagine not worth his while.
I doubt Wilder ever fights AJ. His team has only become more deluded and irrational over time. It's amazing they were competent enough to land a Fury fight.

this is a poor HW era, if he loses he can easily rebuild and fight for another big $$ payday, but I don't think his ego can take another beating.

Everyone will want to beat Wilder... he is a puncher! Like Haye. Go find another puncher in the division that has the patina off...We have guys coming up, but not quite there yet. Wilder would be a fantastic gate keeper.

Wilders career was over the moment he thought he was cherry picking lineal champion and future GOAT Tyson Fury.

The level of arrogance and ******ity is mind blowing.

Only if Al Haymon says it is.

A year or so out from the loss, I can absolutely see the WBC or WBA putting back him at #1 if he gets a few mediocre KOs. If Haymon is still pushing him, that is.

If Joshua somehow defeats Tyson Fury, Whyte and Wilder are the two biggest names left out there for him.

Wilder will get plenty more chances. And I hope he's KO'd in all of them.

No it won't. The haters will still tune in to see him fight. His haters are his biggest fans, they say that he is trash but at the same time it is a good win for Fury. Seems that they can't make their minds up.
