Vitor should be the favorite here doe. He's washed, but the other guy has been training 3ish months for boxing & afaik has had no other combat sports experience.
Years back I had the pleasure of meeting one of the best boxing trainers in Rio by the name of Claudio Coelho who at that time at least had a gym/school in Rio, mainly for the children of the favelas. Got to speak to him for a short while, he had said he trained Vitor as a kid and a teen and that Vitor didn’t find BJJ until after he had been an amateur boxer. Very nice man and he had also been the boxing trainer for Rickson and Renzo Gracie. Renzo needed it, Rickson was actually a far better striker than born Renzo and Royce. Also worth noting is that Vitor is actually a pro boxer, having one fight in which he knocked out a pretty good amateur fighter who himself was turning pro. I vividly remember Vitor destroying people in the early ufc with only his boxing skills, including Tank Abbot and Scott Ferrazo both of whixh themselves were heavy handed strikers in the ufc. I would be surprised in Vitor lost this fight as his fighting pedigree is 30+ years old. Boxing is Brazil isn’t organised at all, most of the time it was able to find underground boxing more than pro boxing. I don’t pretend to be a local there but I spent a bit of time in various Brazilian cities though more in the south than the north and Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul are culturally and racially different as can be Bahia, Recife, Rio, etc etc. Almost everyone I hung around in the south were ethnically German, polish, ***ish and looked like me and lived in comfort

I was excited to see Vitor have one last run in One FC now that hes back on the TRT, looks like thats fallen through then.

The guy has been around almost as long as the UFC itself.
