    ESPN corrected you.

It's time for you to stop disresepcking The Guy Who Is Not #1 P4P, Terence Crawford. That's his title.

          "The funds never fuller materialized"

          Another piece of classic BoxingScenery.

No question that everyone wanted the Pac fight and Spence getting it was a coup for PBC. I know nothing of the behind-the-scenes shenanigans and have no view, but presuming Spence wins, this can only be a big boost for his career (not so much if he loses, but at least he will be a lot wealthier).

Arum and Crawford between them have steered Crawford's career into the doldrums.

Of course he did. Bob was trying to make Bud vs Manny & couldn't. Al made Errol vs Manny. Bud vs Errol ain't happening til Bud gets away from Bob. Bob can't make virtual any big fights with off-platform opponents. He's failed doing that a million times. Failing with Bud isn't a surprise to anyone paying attention.

We all have known this for years. He doesn't want anyone not signed to him to make $ unless it is a super fight. Damn near impossible if you left that old Devil.

Bud needs to leave when that contract is up. As soon as he's gone, he'll have a big fight and that's not a coincidence.

That is what happened. I'm sorry. Arum failed you and Crawford.

                good post !

                here is my problem.....

..... not addressing you or anything, just spewing my thoughts onto the first post that I liked

I was a huge Bradley fan..... heck, I still am

Tim was a dog..... he won his first title at 140 in a tough assignment on the road against a very good opponent in Junior Witter..... then he defended his title against some dangerous punchers before taking a bunch of difficult fights against undefeated guys like Lamont Peterson and the tough welter Abregu, culminating in a unification bout with Devon Alexander to become the man at 140

Tim was a fkn dog..... despite not being great at anything, Bradley was very good at everything... and he always found a way to win

after the Alexander fight, it looked like Tim had a great career ahead of him..... the sky was the limit

then Tim signed up with Top Rank and moved up to 147..... but before the ink on the contract was even dry, Bradley said this... " due to boxing politics, I may not fight the best welterweights "..... Bradley KNEW exactly what was up

he knew that he would have little/no control over his career from that point..... he made a deal with the devil, and HE KNEW IT

                I was hugely disappointed

and we all know how Bradley's career unfolded from there..... other than Pacquiao, Tim did not fight the top welters, just a bunch of Top Rank opponents..... and bizarrely, despite being ranked #3 at one point, he never even mentioned Floyd Mayweather Jnr

how the hell could you campaign at welter and have no interest whatsoever in Floyd Mayweather..... wtf?

                very disappointing

Tim made a deal with the devil, he knew exactly what was up

Crawford, in my opinion, is the best fighter on the planet..... only Canelo can disagree with that, nobody else..... I am a huge Canelo fan, and he definitely has a much better resume than Crawford..... but the thing is this..... IF, all things were equal, and Canelo/Crawford were naturally the same size..... so, nobody going up in weight and nobody coming down..... just based on style/intangibles..... I have no idea if Canelo could beat Crawford, I think I would possibly back Crawford..... that is a VERY tough fight to pick based on styles

so, how fkn disappointing is Crawford..... because yea, just like Bradley, Crawford made a deal with the devil..... and just like Bradley, Crawford knows exactly whats up

                HE KNOWS

he cannot land Spence OR Pacquiao..... but he stays quiet, and then faithfully turns up to fight his next Top Rank selection

when Arum was shltting on Mikey Garcia, Mikey told Arum to go fcuk himself and he sat on the bench..... Crawford has done nothing except collect his cheque

fcuk Crawford..... we all know Arum butt-fcuks his fighters, and now we all know..... Crawford enjoys it

                VERY disappointing

Crawford is a fkn idiot, he sold his career for peanuts ..... and Arum is a lying scumbag and worthless piece-of-shlt

sorry for the long vent..... I needed that

thanks to Arum, Spence could end up with the money AND the glory at 147..... while Crawford fights Top Rank scrubs, just like Bradley did

not only does Crawford earn less than money than his welterweight rivals, he also lost his P4P spot to Canelo

Crawford needs to hire Mikey Garcia as his manager

                    you know whats up

but yea..... not only is Crawford sitting on his hands, he is biting his tongue

                    he seems content

plenty of Top Rank fighters have criticized the way Arum was handling their career, and a number of them decided to sit on the bench

Crawford either fulfills his contract and then Jets from Top Rank.... Or at this point true boxing fans can sign off on him. Period.

Not only to lose out on Pacquio, but to lose it to Spence who is the fighter everyone compares him to at 147? Dude, just the last bit of crap to swallow. I always said Crawford would not have resigned with Top Rank if he was not promised top fights, even if that meant dealing with Al. If Crawford does another contract with TR after all this, I will be done worrying about him. I can respect the talent, but that would tip his hand he is only about the cash and his rep, not the fights.
