GRJ is wrong. No one that would pay to watch Floyd and Paul fight would pay to watch a GRJ fight. He is right though that it is a circus, but who goes to the circus and why do they go? To be entertained by something unusual, right? GRJ is just a normal, everyday boxer. And People don't want to watch ordinary boxing matches unless they are big time. Canelo's fights are always in demand because he fights guys in his division and he fights regularly. Something that GRJ does not do. He sounds like a serious actor who gets mad when a comedian's movie makes more money than the "classic" the serious actor made. Or like a serious singer who gets mad when a guy with a gamic sells more records. Hey, GRJ it's called being a showman. SRR, SRL, Duran, Ali and Fury are all showmen.

The root issue here is jealousy. Russell, for all of his talents, can't get a big fight to save his life so he has always been jealous of Mayweather and Tank. He's a very salty dude.

you cant blame the paul brothers for doing it. its beyond sad that mayweather has to resort to this to get a bit of attention, its not about the money at all he just cant bear to not be the centre of attention, really sad having that mindset at his age. i think he will keep the freak show fights going and going people saying its bad for boxing if he looks bad but i would find it hilarious if one of these bums catches him off balance with a flash knockdown or something, floyd and his fans would never live it down and hed be remembered as the guy dropped by a youtuber even if he wins every other round. hes never going to legitimately lose or get ko'd clean but he could definitely get caught off balance one time.

I respect Gary Russell. He's a fighter and a damned good one, who gets ducked, and avoided by fighters and blacklisted by the powers that be, because he doesn't kiss ass and he always speaks his mind and he's not willing to be a puppet. Its not hard to see where he's coming from. When u got guys like Pacquiao still looking to beat the sh.. out of real top ranked boxers like Errol Spence, it makes one ask, why can't Floyd himself fight someone like Bud Crawford, Spence or Jaron Ennis? Because he wants to rob the bank against non- boxers now? Yea ok its a hustle, but its happening under the media umbrella of the sport of boxing, when it's definitely not boxing. And it takes shine and attention away from real boxers and real boxing matches. Its not floyd's fault he's a big brand but damn, the fact that he still has enough left to do what Pacquiao is doing but yet, he prefers to rob the bank AND rob boxing fans of the opportunity to see him in the ring against some real fighters, so yes that does water the sport of boxing down a whole lot. It damn sure doesn't benefit the fans. It only benefits floyd and his wallet. That's why I personally would never pay to see this. I'm a true boxing fan, not an BS exhibition fan. If it's boxer vs boxer, I'm all in. If not, ya won't get a dime outta my pocket.
