Answer: Jerry Quarry, Oscar Bonavena, and Joe Frazier (combined records of 109/10/5). Question: Following the termination of his three and one-half year suspension from boxing, which three men did Muhammad Ali fight between 10/26/70 and 3/08/71, a period of less than five full months? As I have lived through that era of boxing, an era where fighting champions were actively seeking to fight the best opponents in a timely fashion, do you honestly expect me to tolerate the unscrupulous self-centered tactics employed by Eddie Hearn and Anthony Joshua to manipulate heavyweight boxing? Do you expect me to ignore this behavior? Do you expect me to affiliate with Joshua's Legion of Imbeciles applauding and supporting these antics? Do you expect me to refrain from posting criticism of Hearn and Joshua's behavior? If you do, then you not only don't care about boxing, but you are also aiding and abetting Hearn and Joshua, two men who have exploited boxing at every opportunity.
To clarify then: do you support Joshua facing his mandatories or not?

You seem to have simultaneous problems with his fights being dictated by the imperatives of the sanctioning bodies and with the suggestion he might at some point have to dump a belt to break that cycle.

For the record, I think he should (and probably will) face Usyk. Interested in why you think all the other mandatories should have been ignored.

If you drop a belt to avoid a mandatory, it's a duck. Regardless of if you're too sensitive to admit it.

Hearn wants a rematch clause. Mandatories don't get rematch clauses unless they're agreed to by both parties, so if it goes to a purse bid, there wouldn't be one.

This is the only fight to make, and i have no doubt that it would get made. The only issue is if the undisputed fight doesn't happen after this fight then what's the point in holding on to belts and fighting mandos?

Why does any of this nonsensical s h i t matter? The HW division is absolute garbage. It’s the weakest it has been in a decade or more. This era just might be the weakest era of all right next to prime Holmes era. The top 15 of the late 80’s early 90’s and into 2000 were household names. There’s no doubt in my mind the top 15 from those eras run up and down the top 10 like a shredder.

The only thing keeping HW boxing and for that matter boxing in general afloat is Social Media and its minions of mindless psychophantic fan bois and boxers making themselves much larger than they are. The “art of calling out” has now become a “duck” when the top dog doesn’t give them the time of day. During the 80s said “calling out” boxer would have been laughed out of the sport because of his abysmal combined oppositional record. Then you have legions of feminine cheerleaders rushing to the boards of websites to defend the honor of their queens as if they are the side piece of said boxer.

                Pathetic

Joshua should fight mandatories, but he should also fight other worthy opponents. Joshua hasn't been very active so far in his career and likely never will be. As for Joshua fighting Usyk, I hope that you are right, but I don't expect that to happen.
