50/50 in the votes! So yeah, the poll is going just as the recent threads are going. Who knows, by the day of the fight, dare I say the odds will be close to a pick-em??

I don't know if you are a betting man, but if you think Spence can stop him, then there will be GREAT odds for that as the fight nears. Spence will likely be around a 2:1 favorite the day of the fight or even slightly below that so good odds just betting him straight up.

Who was the last southpaw Manny even fought btw? David Diaz maybe? I can’t even remember how Pacquiao approached and adjusted to facing a southpaw, he usually fires that straight left down the pipe but that shot is far less effective versus a fellow southpaw.

Disagree, and both Porter/DSG said Thurman hits harder. The thing with Spence is he breaks his opponents down with accumulation. Dude is a machine from the opening round. Thurman buzzed both Porter/DSG and I can't recall Spence hurting DSG minus maybe the 3rd round where he rocked him a bit. I can be wrong there as I haven't watched the fight in a while.
Spence hasn't stopped the top guys either and as Andre Ward said, that rarely happens that a fighter is going to consistently stop other elite fighters in their weight class...minus the stretch Pacquiao was on at one point. Porter, Mikey and DSG have never been stopped and Spence wasn't able to stop them either. That doesn't really matter to me to be honest since I didn't expect stoppages in those fights and same with Thurman...Though he should maybe be able to get Lopez out of there.
Ha! I get that, hard to bet against one of your favorites and then essentially root for them to lose due to your bet lol.
Yeah I’d find it to back against Pacquiao, I’d love to see him pull it off too purely because it would be such a legendary win. It seems a lot more people than I expected favour Pacquiao, so the odds may become too good to pass on.

Yeah I agree, if Pacquiao can time him early and pick up rounds, I believe he has a chance. If Spence begins to control the exchanges, I think Pac’s in trouble.
