Fury surprised a lot of people in the second by changing the way he fought, even though he actually publicly announced that is what he was going to do, but Fury is obviously a skilled boxer as well as massive which gives him that flexibility.

Wilder isn't a skilled boxer by most metrics, that just isn't him, most would agree his path to victory is pretty narrow, i.e. he isn't banking rounds by out boxing Fury on way to a points victory, its pretty much KO or lose IMO.

That makes it a pretty tall order for Wilder, will he significantly improve his technique at this point when he has never really shown that progress previously, then again he had never lost previously so maybe it is different now.

Be interesting to see which Fury shows up also, I suspect the go forward style from the second fight, but you never know.

Im telling you these fights happen and: Its a decision with Wilder outboxing Fury! Lol. Its like the Murphy's law of boxing.

He knocked out Malik in one round when they fought. Scott never beat one decent fighter in his career as I recall. That said, Fury looks like a blob right now.

I’m a standard Wilder hater cuz he is a massive turd of a man and a huge racist but I have no issue with Scott being his coach. Majority of the best coaches in the game didn’t manage to compete at the level Scott did. Some top coaches have never even competed as a pro Boxer. Only thing is Scott could just be the next YES MAN ego stoker for Wilder to ignore.

But a big issue is with what we have all heard about Wilder being a serious diva and only doing what he wants to do, turning up late, not running or not doing other aspects of training, having his trainers receive texts to say what mood he may be in and how hard he is willing to train it how little he may feel like learning that day.

Scott could be the best teacher in the world but if Wilder refuses to be a good student then it really doesn’t matter. And listening to Scott crawl up Wilder box to lick it on interviews and the fact they are friends and he was willing to take a dive in a title fight for Wilder we could well just have another YES man for Wilder. But that’s on Deontay, just cuz Scott isn’t an ex champion don’t make him a crap trainer.

Did you see that knock out. It was a joke and a total dive.

Fury is a blob even when in shape. But if he do t take this fight serious we might have that joke of a heavyweight Wilder a champion again.

We have always said he has little girl legs and it will be a problem one day, his coach has talked more than once about his lack of interest in strengthening his legs and when it came to actually facing a big skilful fighter his legs clearly let him down, yeah yeah blame Breland and a suit if you want but his little girl legs let him down.

So firing off on Scott’s pads where he already knows where they are and isn’t under any pressure from another fighter is great but can we trust him to be putting the effort in in more important area’s? Does he even acknowledge he needs to improve there or is he sticking to the suit and the spiked water as to why his legs are a joke?
This is why I dislike you morons. None of your analysis is based on actual assessments, its all on your emotional response. Now that Fury has scuppered the Joshuw fight, you suddenly want to now pretend as if Wilder is some reborn fighter. If the JoshuaFury fight was never on the cards, you would be claiming his padwork will make no difference.

                    Boom

One of the few posters here with any sense. Wilders chances are slim and, even if he wins, it won't make him the better fighter of the two for me. What will be interesting is if he can exploit the body considering Fury leaves himself so open at times. I also hope he's been working on nullifying Furys clinching. He really has no choice but to come forward, that negative fight style and waiting for the right is gone. And that goes for everyone in the division, everyone now knows that they key to taking Wikder on is not standing in front of him and thinking the right is an inevitability. He has to earn his KO from now on.
