Simple reason that new guys will never be on Mayweather`s or Pacquiao`s level

    They don`t take any risks.

Davis is not gonna fight Lomachenko or Lopez.

He thinks it is a big risk to fight Barrios.

The biggest risk in career of 30 old Spence will be the fight with 43 old ex flyweight. Spence is not even a big favorite in this fight. When will Spence fight Crawford, top 154 guys, top middleweights?

Haney struggles with the guy Lomachenko stopped easily and he thinks he is something.

Ryan Garcia struggles with Campbell and this is the biggest risk in his fighting life.

Jermall Charlo fights guys nobody ever heard about.

    Enough said?

Most dudes - especially at that age - just fight who is put in front of em. The opportunities they get depend on all kinds of circumstances, but generally ain't got much to do with fighters being averse to taking risks. They might push their promoters for bigger fights or whatever but at the end of the day if they got any sense they're smart to let the matchmakers do their thing... After all that's what they're there for. You think Floyd and Manny were picking their own fights at that at age?

Which is, most probably, the reason behind him struggling with depression right now, after all that social talk...

Crawford is the most overrated hype job cherry picker in boxing. The guy cherry picks bums and faded former champs. He hides out on ESPN exclusivity to duck the top guys. Not a single decent welterweight fought yet. He asked for 50/50 then 60/40 his way to fight Spence when Spence is more known, draws more, has 2 belts to his 1 and Spence's belts are more prestigious. Now the diva said he's done talking about Spence. Crawford probably cried when Pacquiao vs Spence was announced. Crawford will more than likely fight another bum or washed fighter. He should be #1 called out for not taking risks. He is supposedly a top P4P fighter and welterweight based off the miraculous "eye test."

They don’t fight each other. Point blank.

Oh and they lack the talent as Manny and Floyd.

Pacman and Floyd are once in a lifetime type fighters so it’s not fair to compare young fighters to them.

All the reasons have been mentioned but lack of competition, unwillingness to take on all comers, and chasing the money are the reasons why we wont see another fighter like them.

Mayweather and Pacquaio are iconic fighters who come around once in a lifetime or atleast a generation.

The last era was spoiled having them around at the same time around the same weight.

The Welter Weight divisions in the late 90's and through the early 2000's and just past then was? A great era in those divisions.

If you look up and down all weight divisions now, they are all way under par.

The heavyweight division in terms of competition is probably he best.

The welterweight divisions now, are under par etc
