big dunn: The thread didn’t ask for that. It asked to list his 5 best wins.

djtmal: "Obviously accounting for the time/prime and weight of his opponent. What would everyone say?"

big dunn: manny and andre berto
You should change your name to djtgaw- which stands for tiny gay Asian wilder because you make as many excuses for Manny losing as wilder did when he lost to Fury.

Floyd/manny was a matchup of the 2 best p4p boxers in the world.

Yes they were both past prime, but it speaks to how great they were that they occupied those positions at those ages. It was the at the point the highest grossing fight in history.

So let’s recap- you don’t count as one of Floyd’s best wins a win over the #2 p4p fighter, wbo ww champ, 2nd best overall ww, in the highest grossing fight in history, because neither guy was “prime” even though the “not prime” manny was better than anyone else Floyd fought that was “prime”.

Yeah- you’re simply a disgruntled loser who hasn’t gotten over the loss so you’re doing this.

I shouldn’t be surprised, you’re the same guy that got caught lying about Posting Shane should fight Floyd .

    smdh.

I am helping you make a list.

Obviously you are scared to make a list because given the parameters, you can't use past prime fighters that Floyd beat.

C'mon you can't be a dunce all your life.

I’ve answered the question many times before.

Floyd is retired so nothing has changed

I said Manny lost. Manny said he had a bum shoulder.

Thats what happens when you wait to fight guys out of their prime.

You don't get the same type of credit that you would if you just beat the guy in his prime.

Just beat the guy in his prime like he beat guys like Marcos Madonna and you would not have to need 50,000 plus posts to defend him.

When I must have missed it.

Cut and paste it that shouldn't take up too much time to do.

You will be on here all day defending Floyd anyways.

While you at it, list all of those historians please we have been waiting on that one for about 6 months now.

This isn’t anything new. The precedent isn’t that a fighters top five wins are all against fighters in their prime or “best weight”. So no asteroid needed. If they were all in their prime and at their best weight then that’s when you should see an asterisk because that would be different and worth noting. Anyone who knows boxing should not be confused.
                    A few things

                    1) most boxers all time, 90+% of their resumes consist of fights vs solid pro types. Most fighters, if they are lucky, only have a few fights vs big names in their careers, and a few fights, maximum, vs 'great' opponents

                    2) Floyd has a number of big names on his resume

                    3) When you have a number of big names on your resume, it is extremely important to look at what version of the big name you fought/beat. Because, for example, beating Muhammad Ali in his prime, is much different than beating him when Trevor Berbick did.

Honestly I can't believe someone is arguing that we don't need to take into account the form of the fighter at the time of the fight.
