You're a fighter you're going to get hit that's what happens I'm not going to act like I've never seen guys hurt before and come back from adversity and win the fight think Wilder vs Ortiz 1 Wilder was out on his feet

the fight ended, he didnt come back from anything as he never recovered. wilder may be a glass chinned bum with no resume who was gifted a timeout and he might have been fighting an old out of shape fighter but he came back to win, not hug out the clock

I thought Haney looked pretty good. He's not heavy handed and he's not an offensive juggernaut so he won't typically be blasting people out. Linares is past his prime and while he's not the most durable, he can still **** a bit. It took the Venezuelan fighter a few rounds to get his range and timing and from there he was able to catch Haney from time to time.

I'm not a Haney fan and I don't know if he'd beat the other top guys at 135. That being said, I don't think any of them blow him out and I wouldn't be surprised if he did beat any of them should they actually fight.

It was a good learning experience. He hasn't fought a lot of high-level guys yet and this is what happens when you finally do...you get shown the ch1nks in your armor. Just analyze what went wrong, fix it, and become a better version of yourself. Don't waste the lesson.

                This is the boxing way.
haney ordered a new chin this morning. rush delivery!

lol, Haney took 1-2 rounds just to recover. Lunging to hug was embarrassing.

Lopez would destroy him , remember this is a 35 year old Linares who has been KO'd five times now. I f Haney had won without nearly getting stopped fans would say ok but little pop but given the way he hung on for dare life and looked only a punch away from losing and without a serious dig himself he can not be favoured to beat the division elite .Imagine those punches landing from the likes of Tank or Lopez .He will lose to white and black fighters a like ! or Hearn may see this and put him back in with easy fights as he suggested he'd done.

He can't get a new chin but he can improve his awareness and defense. He can also get Floyd to show him how to train his neck muscles.
