Explain why the WBC belt went from around Lomachenko's waist to Haney's, then.

Boxing politics surely. If anything I'm sure Arum wanted Loma-Lopez to happen. But to say Loma ducked Haney is just absurd. Loma is about the only fighter out there right now who actually wants to fight the top guys around his weight with little to no strings attached. Literally call anyone else in the sport a ducker before him lol

If he had any ducking in him he sure as hell wouldn't have taken the Lopez fight

At first I thought the thread said find his father. And I was thinking...isn't that his real father?

Loma-Lopez could have still happened without dropping the WBC belt.

Haney has kept his father but has gone around so many trainers in McCallum, Bey, Mayweather Sr, Davison etc. He needs to pick a team and stick with it.

Well again ask yourself if you would consider a man a 'ducker' who faced someone like Lopez when he didn't have to. You can make a case for Haney all you want but to call Loma a ducker for that whole situation is absurd. Like I said, about the only guy out there right now who clearly ISN'T ducking. Especially around 135 pounds

His father is turning into a mess, he flat out said he would stop training Haney.. yet here he is out of no where leading the corner. With Ben weirdly standing to the side just saying a few things here or there.

Lomachenko could have kept the WBC belt and still fought Lopez.

The only problem is that Haney would have been waiting afterwards as the mando.
