Everything I read, "Obaali didn't know where he was!" Uh, he was the ONLY one who knew where he was, Reiss pointed him to the wrong f'n corner! Same for the announcers. Also, nothing illegal about the punch, both fighters were throwing, but fact is, the punch started and landed after the bell, so Obaali should have been given 5 mins to recover and it shouldn't have been ruled a knockdown. I'm a huge Donaire fan but that's just facts. But hey, it's boxing so what rules?

Jack Reiss : Can you continue? Walk to me, give me your gloves.

Nordine Obaali : Extends his arms about to touch is nose, because he thinks he is being given a sobriety test.

Jack Reiss : GIVE ME YOUR GLOVES! Walk to me again. Go back to your corner ( points at the wrong corner ).

Nordine Obaali : This is not my corner.

Jack Reiss : RING THE BELL! EVERYBODY IN!

Nordine Obaali : Stumbling and confused about Reiss instructions, tries to get things clear with Reiss.

Jack Reiss : Get over there ( points Obaali to Nonitos corner ), Get over there. ( points Obaali to his actuall corner ).

Nonito Donaire : WTF is going on?

I will never proclaim anything is absolute but Donaire would be one of the last people I suspect of PEDs. He's been enrolled in VADA for quite a long time and subject to random testing 24/7/365.

This is why Nonito is a nightmare match-up for any fighter in history from 112-118lbs. Because he's big, long, skilled, has a Great chin, can walk through most Bantams and land his bombs. One of the biggest punchers 118 and under in history, don't let his KO % fool you. His left is a thing of destructive beauty.

If Nonito had won an actual belt at 115 and not an interim title he'd be held in even higher regard, but his early victim Vic Darchinyan became the first 3-belt champ at 115 anyway.

I wish Nonito had moved back down to 118 after losing to Rigo, he didn't need that 126 move. Nobody would have beaten him at 118lbs from 2014 until when Inoue came along. Nery would have been food for a younger Nonito. He'd literally be considered one of the GOATs at 118lbs. Also wish Zolani Tete didn't pull out of their fight, easy work for Donaire and another title. Inoue v Donaire would have been consensus 1v2 also.

It's a belt. In any case he is unifying soon against Casimero, which is a very dangerous opponent.

Donaire and JRock are two of a handful of guys out of the US that I would be comfortable putting money on being clean.
