    How shot/past prime/great is Linares?

Where is Linares at? I know a lot can happen in a short time especially in boxing but this guy went from being so hyped because he fought Loma and gave a good account of himself.
Me personally, I'll be damn honest with you I wasn't impressed. I thought when he let his hands go Loma struggled a little with his handspeed but I didn't really see any adjustments I thought Loma made him look one-dimensional. I also thought he quit at the first sign of adversity.
I don't think he was badly hurt more he was overwhelmed and had no plan B. Loma was going through the gears and he couldn't hang, didn't attempt to go out on his shield.

He was talked up hugely after that fight, everyone seemed to forget about his losses.

Then he moved up and fought a naturally much bigger guy who can dig a bit, to me it didn't look like the size difference was a factor really. Cano just seemed to know Linares style inside out and took advantage of every single opening. I thought it was a great performance

He's beat two bums since but seems to be completely written off at the weekend.

Haney is apparently a bit feather-fisted so if he can't get Linares out, do you not give him (Linares) a good chance?

Seems a no win situation for Haney.

If he knocks him out early - its been done many times before.
If he wins a decision people will label him feather-fisted, boring etc
Would he get more credit if he outboxes him then stops him?

Linares is a good fighter but has always been an overrated fighter.

Talented guy who’s all style and no real substance.

If Haney is what he’s hyped up to be he should handle him comfortably.

Linares is very chinny, cuts very easily and lacks heart.

And now at this age he’s pretty much there for taking. Haney should stop him if not it’s a very bad look for him.

I think he was always overrated but he did give Loma a tough fight. But Haney willl make it look very easy because he is just much better than everyone else.

He was never meant to be great. How many times does a guy have to be KTFO ?

In order to be kinda great, doesn't a guy have to beat someone great ?

If he doesn't cut & can take Haneys power are we expecting him to be able to win or give Haney a real test at this stage?

Linares is a very difficult fighter for me to get a real gauge on. He's lost in brutal fashion to many I think he is far more talented than.
His resume is awful. He has accomplished a lot without actually beating anyone I'd deem as true world class.

I'm not sure what to expect from him, ever let alone vs an elite talent albeit one that isn't a very big puncher in Haney.
I think he gave Loma more difficulty than he'd have liked due to the fact like Loma can't really punch.

                Yep.
His resume for a 3 weight world champion is among the worst I've seen.

His resume might be worse than Leo Santa Cruz.

He has okay skills sometimes but he can get randomly KO'd by journeymen at any point.

He's definitely worn down and definitely nowhere near as skilled as Haney, even in his prime. That being said, it's a decent test. Haney is still the youngest out of the four, and Linares > Campbell, and Ryan beating Campbell got a lot of credit for him. Haney might shut him out, but I could see a late stoppage too.

It's nice to have beaten a champ, BUT, sometimes a champ will have been a statistical chump. A one n done'r

                    I don't see Jorge's hand being raised
