Whyte has called out champs before. Even when they themselves already had fights lined up.

Maybe this idiot thinks Ruiz is dumb like him and his managers. The ones who talked him out of a Joshua payday.

Ruiz might be under Haymon but he is Mexicans and Mexicans aren’t that dumb. You really want him to fight you for some scrubs when Joshua and Whyte can provide him with a bigger payday?

Ruiz is a useless fat bum and is looking for a final cash out against AJ.

Ortiz team still regretting the ****** thing they did when they turned the AJ fight down.
They'll regret it for the rest of their lives. They could have been the Ruiz team that made
4x what they were offered. Belts, rematch...

Joshua would probably fight Usyk. Ruiz may not fancy an Ortiz fight because he could be defeated and won't be able to cash the Joshua trilogy. Whyte could be a possibility if he wants to fight in the US but, somehow, I also see him skipping Ortiz. Doesn't want to get KO'ed by two over 40's.

So, it could be Ortiz vs Arreola or look for Chisora or Parker or Povetkin.

That fat ass bum Ruiz is just running from real fights, he scared the Cuban gonna knock his head off those shoulders. He's a washed up Mexican bum. Barely beat Arreola and was gifted that win. Should've never turned the Trilogy the first time you fat disgusting pig. You're career is over Fluffy.

Former world title challenger Luis Ortiz says if things don’t work out between unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller, he’ll have no problem stepping in and facing…

“With all respect to you for all you have done, I’ll fight you for just about any money you offer me so if you can’t work out the Miller fight, I’m here and ready. I’ll fight you in the USA or UK. It’s on you and if you think you’re that good and want to test yourself who better than me? Wilder and Fury are not available and I believe in my heart to be the best you must face the best”

                    Luis Ortiz.

He woulda made in the region of 15-20m dollars had he won the first fight then had a rematch.

It was a duck, boogeyman myth got busted.

It's a shame how HW Boxing treats Luis Ortiz. A large technically great HW fighter who has attempted to fight anyone and everyone ... who can't get almost anyone in the Top 15 to pick up their shield and do battle. Even at his advanced age now. Ortiz has always shown up in shape, with energy, and been a tough opponent for everyone he's fought. What more could these promoters ask for, when wanting to get a top tier, solid opponent on these up and comers resumes? There is no reason the Martins, Kownackis, Joyces, Dubois, Whytes, Parkers, Ruiz, Furys, Joshuas, Chisoras, Hrgovics, Usyks, Ajagbas, Gormans, Sanchez, etc. of the world ... should not have already scheduled fights with this man. It is a sad commentary on the promoters in this business and the fighters themselves ... that they don't want the challenge.

And running from the fallout of "what if I get beat by (old) Ortiz ... it hurts my career" nonsense says even more about how pitiful the business execs in the sport and (again) the fighters themselves have become, when it comes to the actual idea of BEING THE BEST. Seems everyone wants a greased path to a title (ala Joshua/hearn "paying" to get a title that was gifted to Martin).

If none of the current Top 20 can see their way to take the challenge that (advanced age) Ortiz brings to the table (outside of Wilder who did fight him), I say let's just pass on them altogether. Bring on Jared Anderson and the next generation of HW Fighters, who aren't afraid to fight anyone ... and who aren't micromanaging their careers to avoid challenges.

How can any boxer want to claim a title as the best, and not want to fight the best out there? Ali would have travelled the world to fight guys with the skills, record, and reputation that Luis Ortiz has ... of being a monster in the ring (conquerable but definitely a stern test for the best). C'mon Boxing.
