He dominated Hopkins more because Hopkins had to resort to clinching and headbutting. Roy actually put up a fight and didn't try to fight like it was a street-fight but a boxing match... Roy is the man! Don't give a crap the score-cards say that Calzaghe/Hopkins was close, Roy didn't try to cheat to win unlike Hopkins.

First of all clinching is apart of the sport.

What do you think B Hop would do vs RJJ?...

B hop isnt gonna hold, and grab the bigger RJJ...RJJ has been fighting bigger fighters his entire career....B Hops ugly tactics would get exposed vs RJJ

his 1 right hand at a time wouldnt be effective...in the middle of the ring..u think B hop is gonna outpoint or out muscle RJJ?...

excessive clinching isn't, you get dq'd and points deducted for that kind of behavior.

              Agree

Hopkins was plain embarrasing Hugging, butting, pretending to be hit low etc and taking time out. Least Roy hurt Joe too and actually fought, if Hopkins cares about legacy why did he put us thro such a terrible fight with his spoiling?

Roys rope a dope isnt going to work on Bernard... Roy doesnt have the legs to outbox Bernard at this stage.. he STILL spend 70% of the time on the ropes.. and Bernard isnt going to get ****** into Roys fight... Bernard would dictate everything in the ring at this time.

yea RJJ's style allowed Calzaghe to look much better than he did vs B hop...B hop slowed Joe down with the wrestling...RJJ let Calzaghe maintain the same speed of fighting the entire fight

That guy in your avatar should become a street-fighter, he is no boxer. That is why Calzaghes jab was better then Bhops anyways. Even with his excessive clinching cheating ass, he still got outboxed by a white boy.

I dont know how anyone can make a claim that Roy put up a better fight than Bernard against Joe.

You talk about Roy putting Joe down... but so did Bernard.

And it was an actual PUNCH... not a wrist.
