as much as i love roy jones....bernard hopkins is the smarter fighter. roy relies too much on the physical. bernard hopkins is the most cerebral boxer of our era. him and nasim richardson come up with the blueprints to win time and time again. and lets not forget that bhop is still strong and he counter punches. tarver got a lucky counter on roy and KO'd him. what would happen with a flush, timed, well excuted hook from bhop on rjjs chin???

oh and whoever said its roy keeping the fight from happening not bernard......roy said it could be a prize fight and the winner would get their 60%. bernard didnt want that. they both deserve 60 but roy more than bernard because of his win. a prize is as good as it gets.

Ahhhh the good old Tarver excuse... yet before the fight, Antonio CLEARLY stated that he was GOOD to GO.. and the weight was NO PROBLEM.

This is what Pavliks camp has said... not me... they are having trouble making the weight, and they are contemplating moving up.

By doing this you are denying the man of his accomplishments and that simply isn't fair. Let's not forget when he was middleweight champ, and undefeated for 10 years, he fought how many former welterweights? Tito and Oscar? That's 2. So all of his other fights were against true middleweights and guys even bigger than himself (like Glen Johnson for example).

It's pretty gay for you to use this against the man. The simple fact is he has a better resume than 99% of active fighters today. He's accomplished more than 99% of fighters.

His "biggest" wins were against so called smaller guys because it just so happens that oscar and tito were teh biggest names in the sport. There were no bigger names. And tito was a legit middleweight, as shown in his destruction of joppy. And lets not forget the middleweight tournament was set up so that trinidad would win, which would set up a superfight with Roy Jones at 168.

whoa man, that is debatable. Hopkins 20 title defences, LHW champ over 40 years old, etc.

Both Jones & Hopkins have accomplished a ton, in their own ways. It's tough to say which is more impressive. They are pretty equal imo.
