I think everyone forgets that Hopkins wanted to fight the winner of RJJ / Calzaghe.

What does Hopkin gain with beating a bum?

Neither man were in there primes in 1993, although Jones was the more experienced of the two since he had a great amateur background and of course the Olympics while bhop was doing 5 years in the pen.

The sad thing is neither is in there prime now and even if bhop were to beat jones right now, everyone and their mama would know jones is way past his prime. It means very little for berarnd, I think. Who knows though

I think they should just settle on a 50-50 split.

Roys a bum now because he lost to Calzaghe? Guess that makes Hopkins a bum too... He had to clinch for dear life against Calzaghe and still lost. Atleast Roy didn't headbutt Calzaghe or clinch Calzaghe for dear life.

Roy lost 11 rounds against Joe... Bernard got a split decision close loss to Joe.

                      HUGE difference.
