I hate this. Ryan Garcia was the right fight for Manny. Garcia had youth but Manny had size and experience. Spence has every physical advantage and he's much more experienced than Ryan.

Lmao how was josh taylor’s fight any more of a beating than Pac. Manny dropped Keith and had thurman gasping for air in pain from a body shot. Taylor coasted after the 8th rd and gave most of those away

Josh Taylor doesn't really count as a beating compared to Valdez, Canelo, Dillian Whyte did recently. Sure. But Ramirez took way more punishment than Keith. Pac isn't trying to destroy people anymore.

Comparing Spence, probably the most brutal fighter at WW right now, to Thurman is also ******. The fight nothing alike. Spence likes to mix and match but he's a come forward body puncher who knows how to close off the ring. This is a fighter that Manny is going to struggle with for sure.
PAC hasn’t fought in almost 2 years. Come fight night it will be more than 2 years since his last fight!

I don't see any criticism towards errol for picking up an +40 years old with almost 2 years layoff legend in Pacquiao, spence has absolutely ALL the advantages to win this fight except for ring experience fighting top guys, mad respect to pac for taking the fight and I hope he can pull it off

It’s an awesome fight. Pacquiao a true legend putting his record on the line at an older age. Garcia ? No mate, no one wants to see that until Garcia establishes himself

This fight has Pacquiao/De La Hoya written all over it. Pac is 43, coming off a two year layoff. Spence is a bridge too far. He should have fought Mikey and called it a day.

Spence Pursuit Will End Pacquiao's Career On a Painful Note

Could be painful, but what can we do?
Crawford and Spence want no part of each other.
They'd rather cherrypick this grandpa who is in the last league of his career.

And Spence is supposed to be honored for this?
                  It's terrible.

He probably will end up losing to Spence. But Pacquiao is sneaky enough where he might be able to catch Spence early, like he did with Thurman and have him second guess himself.

It would be seismic. Seriously. Pacquiao taking on a prime Spence is the ultimate shot at a pinnacle win on a career that really has had several already. Even if you are a Pac-Hater (and I have no idea how a boxing fan can hate Pacquiao), doesn't this at least earn your respect for a continued quest for greatness? And for all those saying a two year lay-off is bad, I consider it a good thing for an accomplished, self motivated fighter like Pac. His body has healed, and he does not ever fall out of shape. It is not like he does not know how to train for a boxing match or anything.

It would be hard for me to pick against a hungry, out to prove his worth Spence. Especially as the "who is really at fault" debate rages between the Crawford camp and his. But Pacquiao has denied father time more than a few times. Spence better prepare like it is a prime Manny.
