What Paulie said was a disgrace. With white supremacy running rampant in this country, what happened at the Capitol, and the attacks on Asian Americans, Paulie never should have said something like that.

But see he could never say that because of his hate for that race meanwhile he praised white euro fighters despite them not being the best right now.

Not hard to see what he was aiming at.
I watched it recently. He made the comment in response to Devin Haney saying "never let a white boy beat me".

He made an observation that, historically, certain groups of people dominated the sport at different times.

“Boxing has had its course in history with certain demographics dominating more than others, right?. Maybe like 100 years ago, Irish fighters were better. And then the ***s and the Italians came in. I think the African-American fighter became most dominant in the sport in the 70s, 80s, and even 90s.”

He then went on to add that:

“It’s (the Eastern Europeans) that has become the dominant species in boxing,”

Referring to the success Eastern European fighters have had. He didn't say white people, or Europeans, he said Eastern Europeans. So he was obviously referring to Usyk, Golovkin, Lomachenko, Gvozdyk who were all at or near the top of their division.

Now, you can argue that it was the wrong observation, and it turns out that African Americans are still at the top of boxing, maybe even Latinos. But that shouldn't be enough to get someone fired. He was just wrong.

Latino and Afro American have always been dominant but he hates to acknowledge that Latinos have been also dominating the sport for decades he focused on discrediting blacks and praising Euro whites all While ignoring the fact that the best fighter today is Latino.

            Racist as you can get.

Latinos don’t voice they’re opinions as much as blacks but they get ****ed left and right.

The media likes to act like the only top fighters are either white or black when Latinos have been on Top forever.

see white America has learned to accept the black athlete Jordan, woods, Tyson, Floyd etc but they can’t accept the Latino athlete let alone an Asian athlete(see Manny)unfortunately they are just not there yet.

            They don’t like that.

It was a wrong opinion, it wasn't a racist opinion. He was just making an observation.

He didn't say anything racist. He said white people couldn't say about black people what devin haney said about campbell.

That's not racist, just a fact.

That's not at all what he said you spastic.

he said black fighters aren't the main dominating fighter, like ***ish, irish and italians all have had their time. He said the dominant fighter today is the eastern european, which is true.

He said something about black fighters when there was a lot of unrest and protesting among black people in the country. Whether you agree or not, or no matter what side you're on. Fact is there was a lot of protesting and sh/t, at that time. He simply should have known better. There's a time and a place for everything.

A white/Italian dude talking about "it's no longer the time of the African American anymore in boxing. It's all about dem Euros now baby, they're the most dominant now." It's just an ill-advised comment to make.

Tbf, he was responding to Haney's racist ass comment, who also caught a lot of flack for his ****** comment. But Haney can't exactly get fired. Malignaggi can. Politics.

Haney basically didn't catch any grief. Basically none.

Paulie really got fired over saying white people couldn't say that about black people.

Is anybody actually saying this isn't true?
