3 days before the Alvarez Saunders fight Eddie Hearn said that DAZN had 1.7 million new subscribers for the fight. I don't know how many PPV's Wilder Fury II generated, but I suspect that it was less than 1 million.

1.7 million TOTAL subscribers....for the month of May 2021...that ends June 8th 2021....no Canelo no subscribers! Hearn knows this and thats why he cannot lose Canelo to Haymon. If Canelo gets back on PPV he's never leaving. Hearn will offer everything he can but to no avail. The start-up app company will bow down to FOX because Haymon will do no X-promoting with Hearn, this will be a FOX/PBC PPV event. If Canelo stays on the app his ceiling is 35-40 milly, with PPV its unlimited. Oh yes that fake thuglife dude lets just say the internet was made for nerds like him.

He's just playing a game. He knows he holds a bargaining chip, but all it would take is for Canelo to decide he doesn't want that chip and Plant's value goes down to a fraction of what he is asking.

The compromise will be met at a more realistic level therefore.
