Same talk from Fury. He isn't knocking anyone out.

Knockdown, ok - maybe. Knockout, no chance.

You don't get decked twice badly, when you outbox somebody.

As I said at the beginning I’m a boxing fan I don’t care one way or another who wins. I don’t get emotionally attached to boxers. I leave that up to the hero worshippers.

          So what changes?
The glove selection; Making sure he wears the same brand of a new pair of minted boxing gloves as Deontay Wilder; Which has never been worn before. Secondly, checking those gloves on fight night in his dressing room to check to see if there has been any tampering or if any padding has been removed from them since the selection.

Also, making sure that his left hand is fitting all the way into his left glove. Not hanging half way off so he could punch Wilder with his bare knuckle fists through the non-padded laced wrist area of the glove and lastly implementing random Olympic style drug testing so Tyson can't juice this time. This is what I call a clean, fair and even playing field my friend.

I know man, I know. I never wish death on someone, but Wilder is a racist pig, got people throwing fights, total scam, ruining the sport I love, can't accept defeat, wishes he could kill a fighter in the ring, can't let this Fury thing go I mean he literally lost 2 times, this shet is crazy! The list goes on and on, I feel bad for saying it, but I've got so much hate for Wilder is crazy!

But what could it be? It can't be to box against Fury, that would be suicide.

Is it just to come out windmilling? It's arguably his best chance. And it would be interesting to see.
If one goes behind the curtain, you will find that usually the boxer wins in these rubber matches. On average the boxer holds a great advantge over the puncher historically, even before the championship rounds were taken away (15 round fights). That is the sobbering reality.

In this fight Wilder has made some substantial adjustments. I believe his new trainer has added value and technique to Wilder's game. Wilder will loop less, and tightened up his footwork substantially. This intrigues me. Wilder also has tremendous mental strength. So its an interesting fight.

I see it like this: Fury has to be at his best. He cannot go in there with issues. If he is at his best, he should best an improved Wilder, but if he is caught lacking, Wilder could be the exception to the rule.

I've seen the training vids and although he's working on head movement, straight punching, and angles, his foot work still looks like crap, and I don't see any great combos he's working on. He's going to need a lot of improvement to overcome the skill & size differential and I just don't see it.

                Fury by UD.
Nice post. I noticed the punching improvements as well. His form actually looks good, no looping lol. Angles are a necessity when trying to overcome reach, even if Wilder has a wingspan himself (forget if Fury has reach over Wilder). His footwork is crap, but he does have fast feet. I see the result as you do.

Pre-fight he must make sure Fury is not on the juice again.

If Fury can't cheat and fights a clean fight with no dirty tricks or subterfuge then i am convinced that there's no way he is defeating Deonaty Wilder this time.
I'm going to have to put the onus on Team Wilder when it comes to the checking of the hand wraps and the gloves.

If they sign off on those then I'm just going to assume that they found no Egg Weights or plaster of Paris or anything else illegal. And I'm also going to assume that they made sure the gloves were seated on Tyson Fury's hands properly.

As for Fury having to beat Wilder by the same round he did last time, in order to prove something...that's a no go.

Presumably Deontay won't be dumb enough to walk to the ring in a 40-lb costume again. And he might implement a new style with his new, inexperienced trainer/good buddy. That might make him last longer before he gets knocked out, and might even allow him to go the distance.

It’ll be a slave contract most likely… options on Wilder or a severely limited purse

but that’s the price Wilder needs to pay to reclaim his title

Arum ain’t gonna waste 20m on a guy he’s probably only going to pay 1-2m for third fight. If Wilder turns it down, then he loses the right to rematch. Arum has him backed up against a wall here
