Floyd's ww run ******. The paper champs he beat in their prime Ortiz, Guerrero, Marco's Madonna 2X is nothing to write home about. Prime Thurman beating prime Garcia and prime Porter for 2 of the belts made him the man to beat in the ring. A way past prime 40 plus Manny beat that guy, and you can't excuse that away with your Floyd would have beat him anyways fanboy rhetoric.
Manny won and he gets full credit for the win. That said the win has no impact on the Floyd / manny discussion, especially given the fact Floyd beat Manny already.

it is completely reasonable to assume Floyd would beat Thurman. maybe Thurman wasn’t as good as you make him out to be. Of course you need to make him out to be great because manny fought him and Floyd didn’t .

The guy Floyd fought that Manny didn’t- Canelo- is universally seen as the best boxer in the world. Hasn’t lost since Floyd beat him. Thurman hasn’t fought since he lost to Manny.

Only fans of the losing fighter and fans that hate the winning fighter use post fight wins to assess who is better. That is weak. That is really fanboy rhetoric because a man would just admit his guy isn’t as good and move on.

Sadly, manny losing to Floyd traumatized you so much that you’ve forgotten how to be a man.

Stop it. Thurman was out a lot before that and hasn’t fought since.

Don’t embarrass yourself Out of spite or hate for Floyd.

When Pac saw the video of the car crash and saw Spence flying out of the car he said "that is the guy I want to fight next".

Floyd beat Manny sounds good don't it, but the truth is past prime Floyd beat a past prime Manny. It was a big event, but legacywise he don't get much credit for that.
At ww the guys he beat in their prime was Ortiz, Guererro, and Marcos Madonna 2x. Oh and I guess you can throw in prime Carlos Baldimir.

Meanwhile a way past prime Manny beat a prime Thurman that Floyd ducked as his mandatory. If you think that doesn't help him move past Floyd or at the very least put him on par with Floyd you are really in denial.

This is similar to Roy Jones and Bernard Hopkins. Yeah Roy beat Bernard when they were in their primes but I am quite certain Bernard's late run of guys he beat legacywise will put him ahead of Roy on some boxing aficionado's lists not all.

Thurman was closer to his best than Canelo was when he fought Floyd. Manny had an injured shoulder in the Floyd fight. It really chaps your ass that Manny challenged himself in a big way and came out on top while Floyd is fighting a TikTokker, lol.

Floyd s chance to enhance legacy ended with cw fight with nel o and be rto. Because Floyd can't enhance legacy now, like Pac has continued to do for the last 5 years, Floyd's soldiers have to do fighting for floyd as keyboard warriors.

Floyd fans totally delusional now think Floyd could have beat thurman, just like Floyd could beat barrera, morales, bradley If Floyd wanted to, and also beat nelo now also if they rematched? In Floyd's fans eyes Floyd gets elevated above Pac as he woulda and coulda beat everyone. Coulda beat gg g also, but Floyd earnt the right to fight berto instead according to Floyd's soldiers?

When Pac beat thurman there weren't enough superlatives you could throw at pac, Pac was seen as unbelievable. Floyd on beating nel o there was no such cheerleading for floyd as nel o wasn't seen as anything special. Floyd certainly didn't beat a guy universally seen as best in the world but rather a guy with potential. People actually didn't know if nel o would amount to anything after losing to floyd just like so many people Floyd fought and beat. So it's credit to nel o but he was young so that his best wins would be ahead isn't suprising. Floyd fans don't hesitate to remind you how good nel o is doing after losing to floyd, but when it's time to bring up how fighters disappeared after losing to floyd they won't remind you they disappeared as Floyd beat them when they were finished or they were overrated in first place. Where's guerrero, ortiz, hernandez, ssm, baldomir and all the others?

-Spence grew out of the WW division and was drained like all of manny's other opponents.

most knowledgeable observers consider Crawford better than Spence

not sure pointing that out would qualify as a excuse

but beating Spence would be a great win

the weight thing is bullshlt..... that would be a weak excuse for sure
