Nah! He just wants to make one last big score before he retires for good. He knows he's not winning this fight. He's only taking it for the money. Also, myself as a realist don't see how this fight ends well for him either. Well at least he is getting paid handsomely for it however. For $25M dollars any fight is possible to make.

Oh really. So he beat Thurman convincingly and you think he gets blown out by Spence. That literally makes no sense unless you didn't see Spences last fight..

this fight make my stomach turn for some reason. absolutely disgusting how thurman, spence, and crawford hasn't fought each other. meanwhile manny signed the contracts to fight all of them.

If he was fighting because he had something to prove, he wouldn't have went through negotiations with 4 other fighters, before he got back to EJ. Conor, Ryan, Mikey and Terence...

He's fighting Spence because he wants to get paid.

What I actually mean is, that loss to Floyd left a sour taste, he knows he's in Floyd's shadow, so he's going to do anything to leave Floyd's shadow, he tried to fight Conor, IMO, to prove that he can give Conor a better beating than Floyd did, now he's taking fights that he knows floyd would never take( fights that he shouldn't take either)
well, if he wins this fight, he finally leaves Floyd's shadow IMO.....it doesn't make him GOAT

He won a very close fight over Thurman, the kind of fight that Floyd runs back....no one asked Manny to run it back because of the age thing....it was like Taylor vs prograis( IMO Taylor vs prograis should have been run a 2nd time)

Pacquiao is just one of a kind. Him accepting this fight at this stage is another indication that we're lucky to still have him in the sport.

In all my years watching Pacquiao, I've always favored him over anyone he can hit regardless of size or skill level.
The speed and power was always the great equalizer.
But I do think this time, it's pushing it.
Fighting Spence would be akin to fighting a skillfull Margarito and at 42, inactive for 2 years, I don't see how Pacquiao gets it done.
The legend will put up a fight though, that's a guarantee.
