Look @ all this wishful thinking. Sad thing is Fury's fan believe in him...more then he believes in himself...even when he spent a year lying to them...lol. But he knows that 10second nap is coming for him.

Fury's eyes are open by the count of four and he's looking at the ref; by six he's clearly begun the process of climbing back up -- and showing no problems at all. At nine he is on his feet.

So, given he clearly beat the 10 count, why should it have been ruled a knock out?

Second fight did about 850 PPV buys after Arum said it would have to do 1 million plus to be profitable as a co promotion so I wouldn’t exactly call it a success.
Not sure a third fight does much better as Fury’s opened up as a big favorite and illegal streams will be a preferred method for many.

Arum said 850k ppv’s were sold the standard way, 350k digital. 1.2mill.

Agreed and if Fury again defeats Wilder the $100M+ fight against Joshua (assuming he defeats Usyk) is still on the table.

Yup and he could potentially beat both Wilder and Joshua back to back. Fury isn’t ******. Just beat up on Wilder in a trilogy for a nice check, because he contractually has to. And also fight Joshua right after for an even bigger check.

I mean the biggest takeaway is that he has to do it. But just saying Wilder isn’t blocking anything and Fury isn’t exactly fighting him for peanuts.

He was flattened with a beautiful double punch combination and was unconscious for several seconds, clearly concussed. 9 out of 10 referees would have called it off immediately. Fury was lucky Jack Reiss gave him the benefit of the doubt, and lucky he didn't get seriously hurt when he took a couple more hard shots after he continued. I don't believe he'll be so lucky in the third fight. Wilder's gonna beat him like a bad habit...

How come Fury-Wilder is so easy to make, we are having it for the 3rd time but neither Fury-Joshua nor Wilder-Joshua could ever materialize?

Is it because of Eddie Hearn? Joshua? the different networks? the different sanctioning bodies? For the Wilder fight, team AJ wasn't ready to accept the fight as 50-50. For Fury they did, but it kept being delayed for "next week" unlike the arbitration situation messed it up (due to Arum/Fury miscalculation). But still, it dragged on and on and they took months to come to any sort of agreement.

Very dangerous fight for fury because Wilder is not going to make the same conditioning mistakes again. If Fury comes all out again I can see him getting clipped. If he boxes he still may get clipped like the first fight. Assuming of course wilder is prepared and is still mentally there.

Its almost like they knew this fight was happening already and the AJ talk was BS.


As superior as Fury is to Wilder technically I honestly think this will be the fight where Wilder lands a Hail Mary and sparks Fury out. If that happens i'd really hope it meant that AJ/Wilder was back on, but I doubt it. More likely scenario would be we'd get another 18 months or so of **** talking and then a 4th Wilder/Fury fight.
