They agreed on a 2-fight deal. The contract stated that either fighter could trigger a trilogy. The contract also stated that if the loser of the rematch triggered a trilogy, they would get 40%, winner gets 60%. Given how successful the rematch was, 1.2million buys, the trilogy should be around that ballpark. So Fury will get 60% of probably a large pie.

I know for Fury v Joshua there was talk of a supposed $100million each, which is more than what he would earn vs Wilder, but I doubt Fury is angry at fighting Wilder a third time for 60% of the revenue.
Agreed and if Fury again defeats Wilder the $100M+ fight against Joshua (assuming he defeats Usyk) is still on the table.

makes alot of sense once again - sneak away to fight a more rounded champion in AJ - the fight most want to see! Wilder has had a fight and a half to give “Fury the beating of his life”...got outboxed, clowned, and taunted in the 1st...got a straight embarrassing beatdown in 2nd!! How many rds does it take for Wilder to make this fantasy of urs come true?

WOW Old Man sure is moving fast to finalizing this thing but yet for Fury vs AJ he was passive and was rooting for Eddie to FAIL

Payback for Eddie bidding on Teofimo fight? Maybe!

I hope Wilder makes it more competitive this time and has worked on upping his game. However my gut tells me that Wilder is in for an embarrassing night.

Dude get off the phuking Trump twitch. This has absolutely nothing to do with him yet you invoke his name. It’s like you are suffering from TDS and see him in every crevice.

If Wilder had beaten Fury in the second fight he would have been Ring champion no debate as he was No2 at one point.
The rules only apply if there is a vacancy. It looks like if you beat the RING champion, you become the champion.

The first fight was closely contested and should have been ruled a knock out. In the second fight, there is credible evidence to suggest that Fury cheated, which explains why he was hellbent on avoiding the contractually-agreed third fight for an entire year.

Just like he SUCCESSFULLY did after the Klitschko fight, when he tested positive for nandrolone.

So what does this mean? Fury is gonna whup Wilder without breaking sweat and still take on Joshua in September? That will be hardcore.

                      So

Wilder wasn't so ''permanently'' damaged after all

Had to take Fury to court to get that contract honored
