Not really. It was an agreement between Fury and Wilder that either fighter (loser of the fight) can ask for a trilogy.

They agreed on a 2-fight deal. The contract stated that either fighter could trigger a trilogy. The contract also stated that if the loser of the rematch triggered a trilogy, they would get 40%, winner gets 60%. Given how successful the rematch was, 1.2million buys, the trilogy should be around that ballpark. So Fury will get 60% of probably a large pie.

I know for Fury v Joshua there was talk of a supposed $100million each, which is more than what he would earn vs Wilder, but I doubt Fury is angry at fighting Wilder a third time for 60% of the revenue.

No it's not. It just going to be Wilder against the winner of Joshua-Usyk. Wilder is going to show you why Fury wanted nothing to do with him and did everything he could to avoid this fight. It's going to be savage...

Wilder will be the new lineal champion, the new RING champion and a two-time WBC champion.

How much rock did you smoke? Fury destroyed Wilder, nothing in Wilder's game shows he can adjust to Fury. It's over, he is just holding up the big fight for a payday before he retires.

Oh well, hopefully Joshua vs Usyk is announced next. I'll root for Wilder but I have to agree with satanic Bob on this one. Fury should win I. 7 but he better prepare and not totally overlook Wilder. I see Fury vs AJ BEING EVEN bigger if they both get stoppages.

I agree with everything accept your last statement. Why tf should any boxer that has a contract for a 3rd fight give 2cents about Fury and Joshua making a big fight. Hes owed a fight and called for it. Do you feel the same about Usyk, who wants his fight and don't care about the "big fight"? Fury and AJ could've fought Wilder/Usyk months ago to get their obligations out of the way. I prefer to just see the AJ/Fury fight right now as well but I 100% understand the boxers. Boxers fight for a living, they all want a "pay day". Quit counting men's pockets, that's lady like.

Not that I'll wager anything; however, I believe that Usyk will beat Joshua (or get absolutely screwed by the judges). If Joshua proves me wrong, please remind me of this post.

Second fight did about 800k PPV buys after Arum said it would have to do 1 million plus to be profitable as a co promotion so I wouldn’t exactly call it a success.
Not sure a third fight does much better as Fury’s opened up as a big favorite and illegal streams will be a preferred method for many.

I don't think Wilder can become Ring champion , I believe it would go vacant as Joshua is no 2 and he's not refusing to fight Fury. They can award it to Wilder as No 3 if he beats Fury but it's very debatable .. go lookup their rules.

If Wilder had beaten Fury in the second fight he would have been Ring champion no debate as he was No2 at one point.

No. Fury tried to sneak away from yet another title defense but Wilder stopped him dead in his tracks. Wilder is going to get payback on a level playing field, and he's going to give Fury the beating of his life.

hilarious...Fury gives Wilder a boxing lesson in 1st fight which most experts say he won...then states he is not going leave it to the judges in the 2nd fight and proceeds to come forward and crowd/bully Wilder keeping him on his backfoot(which he has no clue how to fight off of) and gives Wilder a straight up beatdown!! Wilder becomes the laughingstock “Trump”of boxing with all his pathetic excuses and conspiracy theories! And Fury is supposed to be avoiding a 3rd fight? Makes alot of sense...ignorance is bliss!
