Joyce vs Del Boy might be doable & less risk + adds a name to Joyce's resume.

Joyce vs Whyte would probably be fun, but much more risk with that one.

With how the HW division is looking who knows what strategy you'd wanna take right now. I could see Usyk the primary title holder soon. And maybe Wilder does finally get lucky vs Fury. But maybe Usyk breaks up the belts over mandos or Wilder retires. So maybe belts will be out there for the taking. Or maybe AJ & Fury both win & then they plan out 2 fights over the next year. Then Joyce might have to wait awhile longer for a title shot regardless of who he beats. So idk what I'd be doing if I was Joyce at his age as to what level of risk he should be taking in the meantime to best set himself up for whatever the HW landscape looks like in a few months & beyond. Think I'd might wait a bit honestly & see what happens with AJ & Fury. Do a keep busy fight if anything.

Completely agree man. The only HW I’d confidently pick to beat him is Fury. I think Joyce would be a stylistic nightmare for AJ and unless Wilder caught him early and knocked him out, he’d be in big trouble against Joyce too.

I was so wrong about Joyce, I pretty much wrote him off when he turned pro. He reminds me a bit of Carl Froch, not skilled technically but great toughness, chin and stamina.

      1000% agree.

Joyce's great attributes for me is his calmness. His commitment to the jab for 8+ rounds against a heavy hitter like Dubois just cemented it for me.

This is why I made my earlier statement about Joshua fans. You matchroom turds are a ****ing cancer, how the hell can you excuse someone for not taking a competitive fight? How was a shot Povetkin even a risk? Considering how ****ing terrible he looked?
These Matchroom ret**d’s aren’t worth it man. They don’t use logic, they just regurgitate the same propaganda they hear on Sky Sports or IFL TV.

I do think Parker Joyce would have happened had he not had some a lacklustre showing against Chisora.
Joyce will fight anyone but he doesn’t have the backing. I don’t see Frank Warren brining in an expensive opponent when he can just wait for Joyce to be called as WBO mandatory.

Joyce vs Parker. Parker needs to step his game up.

if its about who can beat him then my pick would be Hrgovic if not he should take a stay busy till Joshua-Usyk plays itself out

Sadly, you don't risk Joyce at this point. He's not young and doesn't have time to get caught up in rematches or rebuilding.

His title chance is probably still over a year away. He can't afford to delay that at all.

Joyce needs to try to take down Parker, Pulev, or Povetkin.
Though I'd really like to see him take on Andy Ruizor Hughie Fury. Is there a reason that Ruiz hasn't been mentioned yet?
