Who should/will Joe Joyce face next?

So AJ vs Usyk is likely gonna happen now. Which leaves Joyce without an opponent. So… Who should he fight next?

Joyce vs Parker would be my first suggestion. Both highly ranked by the WBO and the winner would be in line to face the AJ-Usyk winner.

Joyce vs Whyte would be a good domestic scrap too but we all know Whyte wouldn’t take that fight.

He could also maybe defend his European title against a Wallin, Pulev, Helenius etc.

Who do you wanna see the Juggernaut fight next?

Hmmm, good question. Feel like Warren won't be interested in taking too much of a risk, considering his ranking with the WBO right now. Looking at their rankings, Demirezen could be a possibility. I think Demsey McKean out of Australia is the most likely guy there. Commonwealth could be put on the line and McKean just struggled against a domestic level fighter recently, but Warren will sell his size and undefeated record, which he loves to do.

The other top option imo, if they decide to defend the European title is an obvious one, mandatory challenger Marco "Cap'n" Huck! That would be a sure demolition job against the faded, former CW champ.

So I'd put my money on either Huck or McKean here

I agree unfortunately, I expect Warren to dig up some WBO European, WBO African or WBO Asian champion who suddenly appears in the top 15.

I’ve become a big believer in Joyce, I’m hoping to see him face one of the top 10 guys but I can’t see Frank splashing out.

Joyce vs Demirezen sounds good to me.

I agree I'm much higher on Joyce now than I used to be. Certainly he has flaws, but his chin, gas tank and strength present such difficulties that there are few HW's that can really take advantage of the flaws. So the question becomes, who out there could out box him for 12 rounds and survive? And who has the power to bomb him out before they themselves succumb? Think it's a short list of guys right now.

Joyce vs Pulev or Hrgovic to prove how good he’s.

I didn’t learn anything from the Dubois since he didn’t do much apart from sticking out his jab against a novice who hasn’t really been tested.

Or if they can get him in there against Whyte or Chisora. Parker also won’t be a bad choice.

Completely agree man. The only HW I’d confidently pick to beat him is Fury. I think Joyce would be a stylistic nightmare for AJ and unless Wilder caught him early and knocked him out, he’d be in big trouble against Joyce too.

I was so wrong about Joyce, I pretty much wrote him off when he turned pro. He reminds me a bit of Carl Froch, not skilled technically but great toughness, chin and stamina.

I'd excuse Whyte for not taking it - he has taken more risks than Wilder and Fury put together, and doesn't get the credit he deserves imo.
Both he and Joyce are on the verge of getting a shot, unfortunately the green belt is mired in corruption and will be off the table for ages as those two clowns duck everyone else and just fart around with each other, while Suliman allows it to happen.
Joyce should stay busy with a fight like Charles Martin or Kabayel. Semi risky but good test as stay busy opponents.

I think you're all sleeping on Joyce. Don't be shocked he gets in there with a big name provided its not a stay busy fight with no crowd. Joyce definitely strikes me as one of the few heavyweights who seems legit about challenging himself. I do think Parker Joyce would have happened had he not had some a lacklustre showing against Chisora.

What the **** is this bullocks.

This is why I made my earlier statement about Joshua fans. You matchroom turds are a ****ing cancer, how the hell can you excuse someone for not taking a competitive fight? How was a shot Povetkin even a risk? Considering how ****ing terrible he looked?
