Totally agree with Dana White here.

I can't understand how any of you "hardcore boxing fans" can support Jake Paul trying to build a reputation as a legitimate boxer
while only challenging non-boxers, all of whom are much older and naturally much smaller than him.

Fair play on Dana thinking Triller & Oscar are fooking idiots, but he's fooking over his guy, GSP, potentially here is the thing he's not talking about. If Chuck Liddell got fooked over & lied to by Oscar thats Chuck's problem. GSP likely is a more thoughtful & crossing his t's & dotting his i's type guy with contracts & deals so its not necessarily the same kinda situation.

Dana will have the last laugh here, like it or not he makes the best fight the best in the UFC and makes boat loads of money doing it, in large parts by having a near monopoly and relative to most sports underpaying his athletes, not great for them but great for him and the fans. The UFC is any boxing promoters wet dream.

Oscar on the other hand, can't even keep his golden goose in Canelo, ruined his relationship with dazn, has ongoing substance abuse issues and is reduced to trying to make a come back at near 50, on Triller no less, the company which hasn't even paid RJJ yet and Tyson has vowed never to work with again, after their fight which massively exceeded expectations.

Oscar might be able to beat him in a fight, but if the fight was their career paths, Oscar's corner would have the towel out.

Triller is no threat to the UFC whatsoever, its just making boxing look bad.

Was hoping to hear an actual, reasoned refutation of Triller from White, but instead it's just a repetitive, mindless rant lacking one single good point.

I thought I'd read either a denial that he is blocking/monopolising the retired GSP or trying to protect him from being exploited, but no mention at all of GSP.

It may not be wise for GSP to come out of retirement, but he has a right to meaningful employment. I can't believe it's legal for UFC to have him under contract unless they are acutally paying him to twiddle his thumbs.
