That’s not much time. With the decision just coming in on Monday that’s not enough time to sort out what Fury’s doing.
Might as well just vacate and see if Fury/Joshua can sort it out and still do the fight in the fall. WBO is the least decoy title anyway.

Agreed seems people think this is the corrupt WBC, the sequence of event is right in front of them, the only reason they allowed the Fury/AJ fight is because of the whole undisputed thing. If that fight isn't going to happen then they would call for their mandatory, because the person on that spot is punishing them for it, Shawn Porter can learn from this.

He wouldn't vacate, that's putting your own career in someone else's hands, would he be 100% sure that Fury would agree to paying Wilder off? After all that they have been through with Arum and Fury, they would be ****** to drop the belt based on what Team Fury can or cannot do.

If Fury has to fight Wilder by September - why doesn't he just fight AJ first and pull out with an injury from the Wilder fight? Dude did much worse when he ate that "uncastrated wild boar". Avoiding the Wilder fight is like a walk in a park for someone who has already avoided a contracted Wlad rematch and literally any kind of title defense...ever!

Damn, I know that this has to hurt Eddie Hearn. He worked so diligently to put that unification bout together so now he must be in a period disillusionment that fight is never happening. Actually my heart goes out to him.

He can't fight anybody without fighting Wilder first, this is what a rematch clause is...

Unless he offers Wilder step aside money that Wilder has to accept which there is no guarantee he will. In fact he's already said he isn't taking any step aside money, he wants his rematch.

This time no tampered gloves from Fury, they need a separate, independent trio of witnesses to see the types of gloves he is putting on. The guy will also try to use PEDs again, like he did for the 2nd fight.

I want to see Fury fight Wilder without the cheating, that is all. May the best man win.

not easy making a fight of this magnitude when the world is in a pandemic and team fury keep ducking!

you need to get over Eddie fingering you when you were younger, its making you bitter, twisted and paranoid!

Vacating worked well for Josh Warrington...
