Dawson vs Cloud: The Waiting is The Hardest Part

I'm glad to see both Cloud and Pascal, both exciting fighters, now champions. This will be a great match-up in the future; a bit of exitement in a dying division. However, I am absolutely confident Chad wins a clear UD. There was nothing more to Dawson giving his belt away than money and respect. Cloud is too raw, not nearly as fundamentally refined as Dawson. Dawson has the tendency to take rounds off, but when he's focused he outboxes Cloud any day.

There are a few people that chimed in on this thread and gave non-biased predictions saying that Cloud would have a chance if Dawson got lazy and took rounds off like the poster above claimed. But it's the people who say ****** **** like Cloud is the next Lacy is what gets on my nerves.

On another note, I read on ESB in the lead up to the Cloud-Woods fight that Johnson would be interested in fighting Cloud after his rematch with Dawson. This is why I hope that Johnson destroys Chad because the Road Warrior has balls of steal and takes on all comers. Fans of Johnson like myself don't come up with excuses of why he shouldn't fight certain guys like the hardcore Dawson fans do.

Glen Johnson's willing to fight anyone because there isn't much of a risk for him from a business standpoint. Not everyone can just fight every single person that calls them out.

Johnson had to watch Dawson go on to get multi million dollar paydays with Tarver without getting the rematch he deserved. I think if things went right, we would've seen a rubber match between Tarver and Johnson because I had Johnson winning against Dawson when they fought. By the way, I don't hate Dawson. I think his victory over Adamek is an excellent one. I just call certain things the way I see them.
