Whatever the case is that would be a good fight. But this is boxing who knows if it will ever happen?

Tavoris Cloud is strong, fierce puncher. He works his hook to the body and head quite nicely for a young fella. His inactivity is because his promoters have said since he is number one people should be coming at him, he shouldn't be chasing fights. Well, 20 fights into his career I think he neds to stay much more busy. As good as he is, he till need to develop. With proper development he has all of the tools to be very, very good at light heavy. But as it stands right now, Dawson would pick him apart.

Dawson might be too quick for Cloud, but with those hard punches I wouldn't doubt that Cloud could put him down like Adamek did. Maybe even out.

They say Cloud fights like Lacy, I'm afraid Dawson will do a Calzaghe on Cloud.

He is a better version of Lacy but Clouds their to be hit at times just like Lacy. Cloud also has faster hand-speed than Lacy. I think prime Lacy before the Calzaghe fight where Lacy didn't have shoulder problems had KO power though. I don't think Clouds as strong as his KO record suggests.

There was no truth to the fact that Chad was ducking Clooud. All we had to go off of was his one notable fight with Gonzalez leading into this past weekend. And one fight against a faded former contender doesn't make a man a true terror. We've been calling for a rematch with Johnson for year and a half now. There was no call for a fight with Cloud from anyone but the IBF. And to be honest, I would rather see Dawson fight Hopkins should he get past Johnson again and Zsolt Erdei after that to grab the linear title. That's only if Erdei can beat Juergen Brahmer. Then if Cloud has taken care of guys like Yusef Mack (that would be a good fight), maybe even taken out Gabriel Campillo, or Chris Henry who is looking good after his last win over Shaun George, or you could toss in a lot of other names for him to build off of. There is finally a future at light heavyweight, and guys like Cloud, Pascal, and Dawson are leading the way, but Dawson has made it to the top first and is busy clearing out the old and letting the others bring in the new.

Clouds a good win for Dawson, so theirs no reason he shouldn't want this fight. Most people are expecting Dawson to win, so why doesn't Dawson fight Cloud?

It doesn't matter how skilled Dawson is. He has nothing that can keep Cloud off of him.

In another year or so would be perfect for a Dawson vs Cloud clash. By that time Cloud will have created enough buzz to make that the biggest LHW fight to be made. But when they do finally link up I think Dawson will put on a boxing clinic. Cloud rushes in and throws nothing but power shots. I see Dawson using that jab, frustrating Cloud, then tagging him with straits all night long.
