This 168 era is so pathetic. Nothing memorable.

There used to be some good names: Joe Calzaghe, Andre Ward, George Groves, Carl Froch, etc. I used to be a big Groves fan. He was a warrior. I enjoyed seeing Dre beat Froch. So, white boys can't fight isn't true. It's the quality, attitude, and special effects in the ring.

The UK just isn't producing quality boxers anymore. Taylor or Fury. Who's next to lose?

This post made me laugh out loud many times, about the orbital. Can I put it in my sig under Seniesa? It's a gem.

The UK actually has a few promising prospects in the works, granted most aren't white.

The Plant fight does not excite me. I was intrigued by Callum Smith, and I definitely thought BJS was going to be a difficult style (which it was to some degree). But Plant doesn’t do anything for me. As a Canelo fan, I can agree/disagree and stay neutral. Canelo vs Plant does nothing for me. With that, said, Plant could be the one to give Canelo the most difficult fight since Mayweather. Boxing is weird like that. Like Floyd having a hard time with Maidana and Castillo but having relatively easy fights with better fighters like Pacquiao, Canelo, Mosley, Cotto, Hatton, DLH.

But still. I see Plant for Canelo about as interesting as Mayweather vs Guerrero. Not much interest. It’s a fight Canelo has to get out of the way just like he had to get GGG, Lara, Trout and Jacobs out of the way so his detractors will shut their mouth and to prove he would fight anyone. Plant is one of those sneaky names where if you let him go, ****** fans will hound him about it like Dariusz Michelwezki (botched that spelling to death) for RJJ. Joel Casamayor for Mayweather. Joan Guzman for Pacquiao. Aaron Pryor for SRL. Etc. If a superstar fighter does not fight every top 5 fighter of their division, the division below them, and the division above them; fans will love to hype up those fighters the top 3 killer a superstar ducked. Even if that fighter ends up being not that good.

Plant is one of those would-be killers that a group of 1000 fans will go around hyping up as someone Canelo ducked because he’s so scared and Plant is so good, tricky and scary. Canelo is eliminating pretty much every fighter that his detractors throw at him. His resume is becoming so saturated with good names/fighters/risky fights, that his haters have no choice but to just discuss his steroid use and how he is scared of Light Heavyweights.

Anyone to look for? For me, the UK is white. The word British and their colonial system represent all negative.

I consider people like Joshua and Lewis African. Naseem Hamed is a Yemeni. It's not about where you are raised or even born, it's who are you are deep down, if you know where you come from. Look at our Mexican American brothers or Mexicans. Ryan Garcia and a lot of others can't even speak Spanish, or even been to Mexico, yet they are counted as Mexican fighters. It's a joke.

I use the word African American as a separation between white American and African American in terms of boxing. African Americans represent a unique history in boxing. Many white Americans are still racist against them and root for white Eastern Euros instead.

                    I understand.
