Canelo would have won when they boxed their fake rigged fight, but Floyd haymon and schaefer rigged canelo to lose because they needed a marquee opponent to piggyback off of because floyd was afraid of Pac and they could not rig Pac and Arum to throw the fight. so they rigged canelo with a fat $5 bonus and part of the deal was no rematch.

now Canelo would put floyd in a funeral home if they fought a real fight but floyd knows it and will never go near canelo. If he could rig canelo again he would but canelo is the money maker with the leverage now.

The fact that you're depending on him having such a huge weight advantage pretty much says it all lol

This version of Canelo would have to come of the drugs and drop a ton of muscle. You still get the old version of FMW vs him at around 152-154 again. I see the same outcome. If the current version of Crawford could fill at 154 (many feel his max at 147 even when a Jermell fight is brought up) from 135 vs Canelo could come back to 154. I have Crawford in the fight. There are guys out there you are not just going to plot forward on with slow feet, punching out of a high guard. it is what it is. That's why he passed on undisputed vs Andrade on DAZN. They were on the same network and tn the same weight class, no myth, imaginary stuff needed

canelo is 168 -175 fighter. You don`t have to be a genius to know he would beat any version of the guy, that probably weights about 160 in retired version.

Then factor in the age difference. Then factor in that Canelo has a hard head and Floyd has brittle hands. The fairest thing would to think Canelo down to Floyd's size. That mean his skeletal structure also. Then it's skill against skill and Floyd beats him every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
Floyd does everything better than Canelo expect punching power. He's an expert at nullifying that.
does that mean cherrypicking? just like the old times.

Why is this even a conversation?

Because a dumb green Canelo thought it would be a good idea to weight drain to fight and lose to Floyd? He didn't just lose to Floyd, GGG beat him in their first bout. Get over it.

You may hate Floyd's IV riddled arms, but Canelo is taking a feather right out of the Mayweather playbook. No level playing fields for Canelo fights. At least Floyd didn't have judges bought for him. Canelo is about to take it to another level of A-side advantages.
Prime Floyd was 140 – to the Hatton fight.

                    But I agree in general.

People and Canelo himself let that loss to Mayweather eat away at them.

They really can't get over the fact that Canelo in his prime lost to an old-af with a lay off Mayweather.

                      150.

Floyd doesn't naturally weight more than welterweight. Didn't even have to cut weight for De La Hoya and still didn't make the weight limit.
