Its a statement that doesnt really make sense. Prime Canelo is 4 or so weightclasses bigger than prime Floyd. If they fight at 168 Canelo kos him. If they meet at 152 again Canelo dies on the scale. But in terms of greatness, Canelo is catching up, and if he continues his path he can get there in 2-3 years, and since he has at least 4 good years left, he could even overtake mayweather.
