People i mprove at different rates. The diffdefence between 23 year old Floyd and 30 year old Floyd probably isn't much different. Floyd trained in that style from 5 years old.

Canelo's team offered the catchweight even saying 150lbs was fine. Canelo still out weighed Floyd in the ring. Canelo was nowhere near drained. De La Hoya was drained vs Pacquiao. Well this is easy to answer. It’s easier to gain weight in boxing than to go southbound. I’d say best version of Floyd was Judah-Baldomir-DLH. A nice 3 fight back to back adversity. Baldomir moreso because it was probably a 20lbs variance at minimum. Floyd was 30 I believe at that time too. If Duran and other contemporaries of his time went up to 168 then I see no reason to not believe Floyd couldn’t make 160 at the very least. I’m even giving Floyd a chance at 155, but Floyd didn’t want it. I’m telling you guys, Floyd changed Marquez’a weight to 146 last minute…Floyd diehards say “he was out 2 years boo hoo”. FOH…

Canelo was a zombie in that fight, he had no sharpness due to being weight drained, even Floyd snr said before the fight the weight drain would impact canelo a lot
