That's what everyone is waiting on. After that decision, watch everything either come together quickly for this fight, or go completely off the rails.

that's the goal when it falls through. It's gonna be the opposition that's being difficult. "We want the fight but it's the other guys...look at the announcements I've been making we obviously want the fight"
It makes me smile when I see people with a brain and can actually SEE every little tactic Eddie the snake Hearn uses. The guy is ready to sell his daughters to the Sinaloa cartel as long as he can help out in canelo next fight! It’s pathetic. Dude does it every time, the world wanted Joshua-Wilder and he gave us Joshua- Parker. Dude is a fraud.

Saunders and Fury were talking **** about Hearn and attacking his professionalism running up to the fight. Hearn went to the hospital to see Saunders, Fury flew out straight away to party with Broner. Saunders is Fury's "bro" though.

I don't think there was any possibility of a good offer in the first place during this pandemic....not for Hearns in the UK, not for Arum in the US. It is the Saudi who allegedly are willing to put a site fee but that is what is being apparently disputed. Where is the guarantee behind the site fee offer? or is it just a word of mouth guarantee?

What happened to the Pacquiao-Crawford fight? Here's what Arum had to say, "Look, what happened to us in Abu Dhabi was we had signed contracts and everything and they were supposed to put up the money,” Arum said to BoxingScene.com. “Well, I’ve been waiting two weeks for the money. Nobody put up the money after promising they would."

From reading about this, I believe this is a major issue. And can you blame the Saudis? They will be putting up a site fee hoping to promote their tourism and earn money but with Covid-19, you never know. If they put up the money today and there is a travel ban and lockdown in August, what do they get out of this? Therefore, I remain skeptical about this fight and perhaps it would be easier if they shift it by 5-6 months when things might get clearer after more vaccinations.

I can't blame Fury! The sport has history with these kind of things...

Brian Castano vacates WBA title over contract dispute

Soro’s promoters, Univent, won the purse bid back in May and intended to stage the fight in Soro’s native France, where Castano (15-0-1, 11 KO) won their first meeting by split decision in 2017. Castano claims that Univent did not pay his purse for that fight until months later, hence his team’s demand that it be placed in escrow this time.

I’m with Castano on this one; he got screwed last time and neither of his team’s demands were unreasonable.

Great post! As much as I dislike Arum, I don't think he would've walked away from Pacquiao vs. Crawford for nothing! I can also understand the Abu Dhabi side too. How do they know if people are going to travel to see the fight? What happens if they don't? Fury is right to ask, "Show me the money!"

If the money is guaranteed, then one can sign the contract, not before.

These mis-matchroom morons believe everything Eddie says. Think for yourselves. Eddie has a history of lying ffs, e.g he's been saying the deal is done for the past 3 months. Yet they still believe everything Eddie says.

These people aren't boxing fans, they are Eddie Hearn man fans.

Eddie should sell products like this for these idiots.

Same here, what’s the point in mini announcements? It’s getting boring now. Team Fury have been straight up with this. If they don’t see the Funds then the fight isn’t happening as far as we are all concerned. And from what I could see here IT IS the money that’s holding everything up.
