the pressure is on Plant. If Plant knows he’s being used as leverage from PBC he will take the Canelo money
Now why would Al do that knowing full well in advance that if he gives Canelo the Plant fight, that he is guaranteed at least one or two future options on his next couple of fights? It's the same thing that Eddie Hearn did. Yes he gave Canelo Callum Smith but in exchange for future options on Canelo's next two fights. So the promotional free agent Canelo Alvarez will be sticking around the PBC for awhile.

Who says that this fight will happen on the DAZN? If the fight takes place it would be on Fox PPV. If Canelo wants the title then he is going to have to come and get it. Haymon has already offered Canelo a 3 fight $75m deal.

It's up to Plant and his wife. PBC can't do anything other than paint more lucrative alternatives in-house.
But the alternatives like Benavidez, Charlo are just as high risk, but much lower rewards.
PBC's only option is to lure Canelo into taking the unification to SHO/FOX and an offer to a possible clash with Charlo.
Don't know if that will work when team Alvarez knew it's Plant's decision to make, not PBC.
Canelo's camp can always deal with the Charlo issue later.

Overall, it's all up to Canelo. He's the main dictator of the unification fight. He would certainly want it on DAZN.
If Plant/PBC plays hardball, Canelo can use Andrade as an option if things don't work out.
I would like to see that happen. Let Plant fight either Charlo or Benavidez. See if he can deal with that thought.

Seems like it. If Haymon can get Wilder to turn down $100 million and a chance to be undisputed heavyweight champion then he can probably get Plant to turn down a Canelo payday.

Because Canelo is running things. Fight Canelo for the undisputed at DAZN or forever be branded a coward. Simple as that.

Why wouldn’t he want the best payday if his life?
Even Charlo wants in and that says something.

Canelo has made it widely known Plant has the belt he wants. I think Plant faces a ton of backlash if he refuses to fight Canelo and becomes the new Jermall Charlo.

Haymon is definitely scrambling to convince Plant the “he don’t need canelo” lol

”you don’t need that 8-10million payday” you better off beating the likes of Caleb Traux here for a cool $800k”

The 100 million dollars Wilder would’ve never made because of the pandemic? Haymon seems like a freaking genius if you ask me.
