There's no one left that's an even match anymore for Canelo. He'll be a decisive favorite the rest of his career. How many fights has he been an underdog in in his career? Mayweather and ...??? Do not expect him to be even with any fighter for a long time, that's the price of being great. And then after his haters will say he never took challenges as evidenced that he was always a favorite.

Plant has the style and skills to outbox Canelo but I am
concerned with how brittle his hands are and his tendency to gas out in the late rounds

We dont give af about betting odds.

Styles make fights. And Charlo and Benavidez are the styles we wanna see Canelo in with at 168.

Not the Uk boys like saunders and smith

If I was Plant, I would not take this fight. But if you are going to take it, do not give up your belt without a fight. This means you insist on getting fair pay (remember that Billy Ho only took $2 million to Canelo's $25 million), you pick the venue, you pick the ring size, you pick the gloves, you pick the promoter, make Canelo come on fox PPV. No revenue sharing with DAZN.

Caleb needs to realize that he has Canelo's golden ticket so he has the negotiation power now.; Too many of these fighters give into Canelo's ridiculous demands just for a payday.

168 is a weak division (aside from Benavidez) and that’s why canelo is there. By comparison , the best fighters at middle weight Would easily beat the fighters at 168 the Canelo has faced so far.

No doubt, notice how BJS while it lasted put up a MUCH more competitive fight than Callum Smith, who was supposed to be the king of 168? BJS isn't even one of the best at 160, I had him ranked 5th after Canelo, GGG, Andrade and Charlo.

Very similar odds to the Smith and Saunders fights, I honestly don't see how Plant beats Canelo, I even think Smith had that punchers chance but I don't see that with Plant.

I rate BJS as a much better boxer than Plant in all areas except the power one, Alvarez had his problems with BJS who I think outboxed him in some rounds but I defintiely saw progress in cutting off the ring, Alvarez has became a great fighter at cutting off the ring, BJS was a slick southpaw with much better feet than Plant.

Caleb is a fighter who is more grounded to the canvas, less mobile, less slick upperbody than BJS and good power, not enought to bother Canelo's defense or chin.

Will make my official breakdown when the fight gets announced but I do think Canelo stops Plant without much problem.

May I ask how you think he has that "style" and "skills" to outbox Canelo?
