Real Mexican warriors like Zarate, Lopez, Canto, Saldivar, Olivares, Barrera, Morales, Marquez and Chavez sr never ducked no top opponent. This is why they don't like him in Mexico. His fan base is the Mexican Americans in the states.
Canelo KOd the Liam, that beat the Liam (2 times) that DooDoo went life and death with. Smith did it better too, I hear he was jobbed in Russia, In order for Andrade to win, half the audience will be asleep or switching between Lucy and the fight. He is a horrible fighter, he's smaller, and he's older too. It's a huge jump from Liams to Canelo. I don't think Andrade scares Canelo as much as you think.

In 2014 he walked away from a fight with Charlo to sign with Roc Nation. Hasn’t fought anyone since.
Exactly! I believe he priced himself out in that fight because he thought he was the shit. All I can say is, that's "his bad". Now he's practically begging for fights while holding a title no one seems to care about. It may be too late but he want to sign with Top Rank at the very least so he can land some decent fights before he calls it a career.

The Canelo fight is out tha window!

PS: I'm happy to see Canelo brushing up on his English nowadays! Learning curse words is fun for some odd reason. Lol

As a Canelo fan I didn’t like how Canelo handled that situation...I’m disappointed that he wasn’t more gracious about it . Andrade wasn’t disrespectful, I mean in a sense he was because he was taking away from canelos moment, but how he addressed wasn’t disrespectful. But at the same time Andrade has talked **** about him and maybe Canelo had enough, but still I wish Canelo would’ve handled it differently...like he did when Lara crashed his press conference.

I suspect Canelo would surprise you with his level of English already.-- Reberto Duran was actually quite fluent in English right from the start (many Panamanians are because of the overwhelming Americsn presence there) but Duran adamantly refuse to allow himself to be interviewed in English and refuse to speak English at interviews and would even refuse to listen to the English. He knew he would be set up by the media and so wouldn't play (converse) in their playground.

I suspect Canelo speaks English better than we know.

Andrade just fights a bunch of mismatches with his boring style. He is exactly what canelo just fought in bjs. A slick boxer with a thin resume. The Caleb plant fight is more interesting and clearly the fight to make. Meanwhile Andrade should grow a pair and take on ggg

None of these guys want to earn a shot. If Andrade has gone out and fought Charlo, Derevchenko, Lara, or lesser names like Sulecki and just kept beating them, Canelo wouldn't have had that reaction. People would be calling for it. Instead everyone waiting on the sidelines for Canelo; none of them deserve a shot. It's pathetic.

There’s a reason why Andrade seemed to get under Canelo’s skin. Maybe it’s because the “King” knows there was a ring of truth in Andrade father’s accusation that he’s been ducking Andrade from 154 on up. The only reply Canelo seemed able to offer to that was an angry stream of efffing and jeffing - while his sycophants ooh and aah for being so witty and eloquent. It’s funny how Canelo suddenly wanted to unify at 168 once Benavides lost his title - and promptly dropped the 175 title once people were calling for him to fight Berbatiev. Boxing fans and the boxing press are so desperate to have some savior to point to in order to say, “See, boxing’s not dead” that they’re building some laughable cult of personality around Canelo.

Andrade’s a talented guy. But his resume is piss poor. Was a lot of guys in 90s and 00s who racked up defenses @ 168, 175 fighting crap opposition. Ultimately it’s his fault
